3 BR/2 BA Villa Hollows Luxury Resort/ Lake Travis

Spend your vacation on Lake Travis in the hill country of Texas in this beautifully furnished large 3 bedroom, 2 bath condo.

The master suite features a King size bed, attached bath, walk in closet with a view of Lake Travis. The second bedroom has a Queen bed, and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds. The living room has a sleeper sofa. There's plenty of room for dining inside or outside on the covered balcony which has a view of Lake Travis and the hill country. It's a comfortable condo with plenty of room for you and your family or friends.

There's something for everyone at the Hollows Resort - swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and biking! (Google the Hollows at Lake Travis for complete information about the amenities on site).

There are two BBQ and grilling areas at the Hollows, one at the Beach Club and another just up the hill from the unit with 360' views of the hill country and like. The Beach Club amenities include four pools, fitness center, sand volley ball court, horseshoe pits, hammocks, and gas and BBQ grills. I will send you more information upon request.

We have contactless, check in and will be give a code for door access a couple of days before check in. We utilize a video doorbell which has video and sound recording of the outdoor entry area. All guests must be registered on paperwork prior to your stay and only registered guests are allowed in the condo, on the premises and in the Hollows amenities. No friends or family of registered guests allowed.

An excellent condo with great location outside of big city. Close to lake very nice pool and beach club/restaurant. Really enjoyable. Nicely appointed kitchen. The only thing I would recommend is new frying pan. I like to cook and the larger frying pan needs to be tossed. Thx an excellent stay!

Fun family getaway!

We had a great time staying here and loved making use of the pools. There were some amenities that were missing and would have been nice to have as a family with kids, but the owner was helpful in explaining ahead of time what we would need to bring ourselves (beach/pool towels, camping chairs, etc.). There was a power outage while we were there and it was tough to get a hold of the owner during that and also after we left something by mistake down at the pools the last day we were there. Note that you won't be able to rent boats or jet skis from the marina there at the north shore, but will have to drive about 40 min to get to a boat rental place. That was a bit of a bummer and would have been helpful to know in advance for planning purposes. Would stay here again, just plan differently!

Loved Lake Travis, it’s beautiful. Condo, not what I expected :-(

Condo was just ok, it served its purpose but, I was not impressed .. it was not properly cleaned, dirty bathrooms, bedding needs to be replaced, not enough parking, and pics make it seem like the pool is close, it is not. Biggest complaint though, it was just dirty, didn’t even smell clean ... If I’m paying to stay in a place , I expect for it to be clean, I do not want to have to clean toilets and floors, or buy my own TP. :-/ it could be a very nice place so, hopefully the issues can be resolved to make it a better place to stay.

Wouldn’t recommend

Overall, would not recommend this property. Pros: unit is clean and as pictured. Cons: (1) the few days before the trip I was hit with a bunch of paperwork. I had to download multiple forms; get signatures from friends, had to go to a store to print parking passes, etc. I feel like this could’ve been handled better, for example having parking passes printed and available at the rental unit. It felt like a lot of unnecessary work. (2) trouble checking in, check in code didn’t work and owner wasn’t immediately responsive (3) the host expects you to wash, dry, and fold all towels before leaving. That means you need to shower at least 2 hours before checking out and start the chores. I understand putting it in the washer and starting it, but drying and folding seems excessive. (4) no amenities whatsoever in the unit. For example you are given what they call “starter” toilet paper (1 roll per bathroom) and are expected to go to the store for any additional TP you require. No body wash, no oil or butter for cooking, etc. Was a bit frustrating. (5) you have to drive ten minutes on windy roads just to get to the unit once you enter the neighborhood. The town it’s close to is very small, and all the nicer lake Travis restaurants are on the other side of the lake. (6) this neighborhood is a ghost town. There’s a restaurant but when you look online there’s differing hours and it’s rarely open. We went to the marina to get a snack, parked, took a tram to the bottom, saw the “open” sign lit up, walked all the way there and it was locked and no one was inside. Upon returning the tram was no longer working. Overall, was fine but won’t be coming back.

Don't be fooled by pictures!

Condo unit was far removed from anything. 3 miles of extremely windy roads from entrance of Hollows to the Condo - tedious and time consuming. Condo was nice enough. Pool area was BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. Main pool was small and murky. Lake Travis had much clearer water than HOA pool - very little upkeep. Advertised jacuzzi was not working and management did seem to not care - very frustrating. All I wanted on my vacation was a working hot tub. Northshore Marina does NOT rent water equipment, or allow rented boats to pick you up there, so you need to get in car and drive, and drive, and drive to get any rental equipment (kayaks, jet skis, boats, paddle boards, etc.) on the other side of the lake. So limiting and time consuming. Such a let down for teens and active adults. Would suggest location on East side or South side of the lake for future visits. Northshore might be good if you want to sequester, walk in the hills or stay put in your residence. We were looking forward to activities on the lake and having access. Now know to ask more questions before booking. Lessons learned.

Fun place for adults and kids

Very warm place. Great view of the lake from the patio. The club house with pools and restaurant is close by, part of the property with good access to the lake. Restaurant serves great food and cocktails. Very safe for children. We enjoyed the stay. Lake Travis is one of the most beautiful lakes in Austin area. We recommend this property.

I’ve stayed in the hallows before, I will say this particular unit had dated furniture, and for the amount of revenue it generates they could maybe invest in a tad more updated furniture. Outside of that it was a great stay, no complaints outside of that and would definitely stay again. It was clean and that’s all I truly cared about!

Great Getaway to unplug

My wife and are only 2hours away (San Antonio) We usually come The Hollows at Lake Travis once or twice per month for the weekend with friends or family. It never disappoints unit #202 was no different. Well maintained, clean, cozy, good view and overall and outstanding host.... Leah made herself available during our stay to answer any questions we had. I strongly recommend her and we’ll definitely be back.

Running From Two Hurricanes

My family lives on the Gulf Coast and at the end of August 2020, we had two hurricanes coming toward our home. Leah allowed me to book on Monday and travel to her property on Tuesday. She also let me check in early Tuesday morning. She was patience and understanding with us and our situation. She even text me to check on my family and my home. She and her property was exactly what I needed during my time of running from two hurricanes.

Great family weekend getaway!

Perfect little getaway at the most perfect place! Absolutely loved our rental, super clean, cute and functional for a family of 6! It had everything we needed and the view was a little bonus. We walked to the lake several times to swim, we also used the pool which was nice. Restaurant had good food, staff was super friendly. Ran on the trails in the morning which was a perfect start to my day! Great place all around!

Great place!

The condo had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable. The view was great from the balcony which was nice for coffee early in the morning. Only draw back for me would be the AC seemed to struggle a bit at night for those of us who like to sleep cooler In the master. However, my daughters in the twin bedroom said they were cold. Leah was a great host.

This was a great place to stay with great amenities, gorgeous view, and extremely awesome service. Close to everything but far away enough for privacy. Father’s Day getaway

Little did we know, we had a little gold mine right around the corner from where we live. We planned a last min get away, and booked it. From the moment we reserved our stay Leah, (owner) was very hands on by communicating and providing all codes to enter property. The pool was a big hit, With great service, and enough space to bar b q. The only draw back was that parking is on a first come policy, so be prepared to park next door. The amenities where as described, just hoped it had live cable tv to watch the World Cup. We defitnatley recommend if looking for a relaxed getaway. Thanks Leah, for the pleasurable stay.

We had a wonderful time at the resort and used the amenities to the fullest. The poolside smokehouse was a big hit and we were the envy of the pool smoking a brisket all day. We chose to use the grills and the condo to cook. We have eaten at the beach club grill on past visits and the food was enjoyable. The condo was beautiful and well equipped. It suited our large party of 8 wonderfully. It had a great view off the balcony for an impressive fireworks show across the lake in Volente. Our owner was very pleasant and provided quick responses to our needs. The beach volleyball pit was great, just the sand was real hot! We all used the trail from the top of the hill to the pool area, and then did a workout in the fitness area on each day. If I had one drawback, DUE TO NO FAULT OF THE OWNER, it is the lack of parking at each set of condos. There are 9 units and only 4 usable spaces. A word of caution: DO NOT PARK ON THE WHITE STRIPED SPACE NEXT TO THE DISABLED PARKING unless you want to receive a very expensive ticket. :(. We love this resort and would rent again from her.

Great get away!

We had a wonderful time at the Hollows. This was our third time to visit. The Hollows is a great get-away. We love the pool area and all of the trails that are great for hiking and biking. We went kayaking twice and had a blast! The condo was great - much bigger than we thought and beautifully decorated! The owners had everything on hand that we needed - condiments, spices, foil, etc.! The view of the lake was beautiful and the proximity to the Beach club was very convenient.

Week with family on lake Travis

Had a really nice stay at this rental, accomadations were very nice. Would reccommend for a family of six and would be nice for couples or girls trip. The property is very well maintained, marina and pool area are very nice also. Our family had a great time at the Hollows.
