Welcome to Moon Dogs Getaway! We are excited to host you in our fully renovated 2 bedroom, one bath cottage with fully fenced backyard in Erie PA. At Moon Dogs you will find peace and quiet, but be close to everything fun Erie has to offer. Try the beaches at Presque Isle State Park or Waldameer and Water World amusement park. Adventure awaits!

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
If you have an overnight stay on a Thursday, please take the trash cans to the curb and return them on Friday morning.
Dogs should not be left alone in the back yard. The fence is there as a deterrent, but any size dog can push their way under.
Please remember that this is our house. If you make a mess, clean it up. Our cleaning service is for light cleaning only.

Great dog friendly place to stay in Erie! We were there to visit family for Thanksgiving and needed a dog friendly place to stay. This place doesnt just allow dogs - they are welcomed whole heartedly! The hosts provide dog beds, bowls, and have a lovely fenced in back yard. Will absolulty look into staying here again - especially if we come in the summer since it is close the the lakefront and the waterpark.

The property suited our needs nicely and they had everything to make sure your dog can be with you while you are traveling. Very nice accommodations and near anything a family could want to do in Erie.

We stayed at Moondog Getaway to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday and the Total Eclipse! The home was set in a perfect location to walk down to the shoreline on Lake Erie! Home was perfect!

Hi Terry, I am sorry that you did not have a good experience at Moon Dogs Getaway. The property is listed as a two bedroom one full bath cottage with one queen bed, a twin over a full bunk, a twin over a twin bunk, and a futon. It is entirely possible to sleep eight guests as long as two sleep in the queen, full, and futon. There is no deception in the pics or description. It is what it is, a small two bedroom cottage. Great Stay in Erie!

We were happy with the house and the location during our stay in Erie. While we didn't get to enjoy the lake, its in a great location. Chris was very helpful during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The house was clean when we got there and perfect size for what we needed.

Hello there! I'm Chris and my wife Marni and I are the host for Moon Dogs Getaway, however my full time gig is an interior designer at my company Studio 42 Design. We currently have three dogs, Remi, Theo, and Georgie who just love trips to the cottage. We are huge craft beer fans and never miss a good live show. We live in Pittsburgh, but I have been coming to Erie for summers since before I was born and also attended Mercyhurst University way back in the day. We look forward to you staying with us!
