Great location!

First time to Okaloosa Island and it was great for our families! Centrally located and great amenities for the kids; as well as the adults. Apartment was very clean and everything provided for an extended stay. Would definitely return!

Perfect beautiful condo for family vacation. Beach wagon w/chairs, rolling cooler for drinks/food. Comfortable beds, excellent management company. Thank you for a pefect place after an exhausting stressful canceled flight.

Awesome well equipped condo!

We loved the condo, very clean and the pools and lazy river were awesome! If we would change anything, it would be the 3rd bedroom beds, a queen bed would make more sense. Great location!! We will be back sometime!!

Family summer vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Destin West Beach Resort! The condo was perfect for our family with adult children and our grandchildren. We loved the pools on both sides of the resort as well as the private beach. The condo was clean, beds were comfortable and it was very spacious. The unit was always cool and comfortable. We have had issues with other condos not staying cool on upper floors but had no issues with this one. I highly recommend this unit to anyone with a large group. The views were wonderful. We enjoyed every minute that we were there. We will definitely stay again!

Love Lazy River

Condo beds and pillows were comfortable! Love the lazy river! Was reassured that it was worth the cost when gent checking bands made folks go get theirs. It makes sense if you actually think about it! Beautiful view! Would stay again!

Spring Break Getaway

We stayed at the Destin West Heron Property and it was fantastic. The condo was very spacious, clean, beautiful, and the view was breathtaking. The kids enjoyed the lazy river and pool. Made many friends. The property was within walking distance(sky walk) of the beach, Gulfarium Adventure Park, Boardwalk and much more. Will definitely be going back!

Great getaway

Unit was very clean, spacious and we enjoyed being on the bay side. Short walkover to the beach. Only recommendation would be to get a new sofa and loveseat when possible. Very uncomfortable.

Fort Walton Getaway

The property was just as advertised. Know that the Westin properties are both on the beach side and the harbor side. This property is on the harbor side. There is a pedestrian bridge to cross a busy street in order to get to the beach. It was only a 10 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay and had room to spread out.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our week. Property management company was easy to communicate with, answered quickly and helpful. Our room was ready early. we were short on towels upon arriving. They had towels to us in under 30 mins. My only complaint is the bunk room looked much larger in the picture than it actually was in person. No one’s fault. We should have known the size of the room anyway as we have stayed in different rooms at this resort the past 3 years. Definitely recommend.

Great condo and very roomy!

We had 10 people and had enough space. Condo was very clean. One complaint/suggestion is a new mattress for the pullout sofa bed! It was basically springs. So if you need that for a bed plan on taking a blowup mattress…not even really useable. Other than that we loved the location and had a great stay!!

Don't waste your money

Find another spot. We vacation regularly. This was the worst experience. Dirty room. HVAC not working right, spider webs, dirty dishwasher, main entry way light bulb out of service. Tried contacting service people. They never responded to chat....

Great location and building, but dirty.

The property was great. Conveniently located. Pool/Lazy River were great. We had fun. The one severe downfall was that the building was very dirty. 3 out of the 6 beds were dirty and unusable. The pullout couch stunk like fish very badly. The bathroom was not cleaned and had hair and dried urine on the floor. The main living area and kitchen floors were so dirty that all our feet were black after a short period of walking in it. They tried to clean the floor but it didn’t help. We ended up just dealing with it because I was tired of wasting time complaining and waiting for cleaners.

The condo was nice and clean and very spacious for 10 people!

The condo was as pictured except the second king room was slightly smaller than expected! The balcony view was nice of the lazy river and the bay! It is a decent walk to the beach especially if you plan on taking a bunch of stuff like a cooler and chairs! Next time I would like to be on the beach although we liked our pool area better! The lazy river was very cold but there was 2 heated pools that were decently warm! The waterfall was not on and they don’t provide pool towels! Also there could have been more rags and towels supplied in the condo, we had to wash them almost daily! Another side note is you have to have wrist bands to get in the pool and beach and you must keep up with them or they will charge you!

Please know that the waterfall is not on when we have the heaters turned on.
