We also do not guarantee that the internet will meet your work/school needs. Should you have an issue with internet service, please send us a message through VRBO describing the problem. We will then contact you to troubleshoot. If the issue is not resolved, we will then contact the internet provider, and/or homeowner. IMPORTANT WINTER INFORMATION : **Should you travel to the Methow during the winter months it is important to understand that you must be prepared for winter driving(keep chains, shovel...in the car) and all the inconveniences it causes you and the community you are visiting. The weather can be extreme with large snowfalls, unexpected technical issues, frozen pipes, impassable roads/driveways). If it snows while here you will have to wait for plow service just like every other person in the valley. There are a limited number of plow companies and Methow Reservations nor the owners of the house are in control of the plow company schedules. They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, driveways...to plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required especially after any significant snow accumulation. Should you get stuck you can call Classic Towing in Twisp, WA
**Propane Fireplace--should there be tech issues or the propane fireplace upon your arrival please send a message through Airbnb. Methow Reservations and the owner will try to troubleshoot and remedy the problem. If the problem requires a part or there is an issue with the propane company that may take longer that your stay, NO REFUNDS will be given.

The condo worked out great for our 4 night stay in Winthrop for xc skiing. We were able to cook 3 dinners and all other meals there. The rooms and living room space for our needs for eating, playing games we brought, and watching movies. We will definitely consider staying here again if our schedules and availability align.
Great location and home with plenty of space for a whole group. Super cozy and clean! Bring your own kitchen tools and essentials. There was no oil or can opener while we were there.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, Bea. Thanks for letting us know about the can opener. FYI on the oil. We normally don't stock oil. Sorry about that.
Great place and right near everything. Family had a great time and will definitely visit again. Unit was tucked away on the end which was nice and quiet. Everyone slept good.
Loved staying here. My friends and I were in Winthrop for a weekend of Mountain Biking. This condo was perfect. It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and close to the trails. We would definitely stay here again.

Glad you enjoyed your time at our place and in the Methow:)
A nicely appointed and clean condo just outside the town of Winthrop with very nice views up the valley. We had a party of six and there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had almost everything we needed, we just couldn't find a can opener. The pots and pans were very nice and no chipping non-stick that we normally find. The bedrooms had everything we needed and more, and I heard no complaints on the beds. There is a grocery and hardware store just across the highway and downtown is just a few minutes drive. Great location for all area trails or snow parks in the winter. We rally enjoyed our stay.
Easy weekend spot just outside of Winthrop with access to the trails. Property was very clean and had everything we needed. The key box is mounted on the garage, not next to the front door, so it took us a little bit to find it, but otherwise, everything was great!

close to everything
We enjoyed our stay at the Aurora Borealis cabin. It was spacious and clean, and Winthrop was a quick drive away. We were able to stop at the grocery, just across the street from the condo development, and pick up what we needed for dinner. Thanks for a good vacation!

The property is nice. It is in a quiet neighborhood. Close to local store and downtown. About 45 min to 1 hour drive to beautiful national park trails and sights. Worked very well for our family.

Thank you for your feedback! We are happy to hear that you got to see the North Cascades!
This beautiful home was such a blessing for our family, and we enjoyed the surroundings so much. We were in town for a wedding, but staying here made it feel like a luxurious vacation. We saw deer right from the back deck, and the spacious living room was excellent for family gatherings around the cozy fire. Love the wine club, too! How fun! Great amenities all throughout, and our kids loved that you had hot cocoa already in the cupboard! We hope to stay here again sometime!
This was a comfortable stay. Be forewarned internet is unreliable and drops frequently. Although the kitchen is well equipped, we found some decrepit pans to be in unusable condition. Contacting VRBO offshore support was a joke. We resolved our issues with local Methow reservation/ managers. In 100 degrees, AC was most welcome. Never used the little electric George Foreman grill. Pictures showed a full size gas grill. LR area rug needs to be replaced as edges are curling up badly. Could be a consequential hazard.
The condo was well stocked, and an excellent location for getting to a number of ski trails with under 30 minutes of driving. Good size for 6 people. We did bring a couple of camp chairs for the living room which helped with seating. We had no problem with hot water, 6 of us showered every day without an issue. We had an enjoyable stay.
Couple of issues: We were supplied 2 rolls of TP for 6 people for 7 night stay. The TV was challenging to use, and had no volume for some reason on the last night. It would have been nice to have had printed easy instructions on how to operate it. FYI- Dishwasher detergent tray did not open during the cycle, so we just threw the pod in and left the tray open.
The rental was a great place to stay as we were exploring North Cascades National Park and the neighboring trails.
The perplexing thing is that there was no extra toilet paper, paper towel or tissues.
Fantastic stay, great for my family. Minor suggestions: as the Grandparents, we loved the master suite. The other downstair bedroom (Queen) had a noisy mattress, and was not well served by the single downstairs window air conditioner, which is in the living room.
We had a great time snow shoeing. Unseasonably warm weather led us to not x country ski. Only suggestion is to have a knife sharpener or keep the knives sharpened (wrt gourmet kitchen). Otherwise wonderful
Really great place with plenty of space for everyone. That said, I would hesitate to recommend this place for a more than a small family until two issues addressed: 1) the hot water ran out SUPER FAST; and 2) the living room seating has one couch, and one chair. Given that this place can easily host 6-8 (and has a nice large dining table and kitchen setup to match), it really needs a living room furniture update so folks can gather round and relax together.
