A perfect Joshua Tree Stay

Gorgeous home with every amenity and super comfortable beds. Beautifully designed with a swell-stocked kitchen. Clean, comfortable, and very zen. Loved the hot tub, the sauna, the movie screen, and the view of sunrise from master bed.

Exactly as advertised

Spent just a few nights in the home as part of our 20th wedding anniversary, area was off the main drag but was exactly what we were looking for. To hot in June to use the Sauna or Hot Tub but the cowboy pool was perfect. Thank you.

Beautiful Home and Great Location

Spacious, clean, and solid views. Nice location, just a short drive to JTNP. Awesome amenities and absolutely loved the quiet in the evenings while in the hammock or on the swing. Enjoyed the World Series on the 100” screen. Tim was responsive and all instructions were very well communicated. Would recommend!

Big Beautiful House

Even lovelier and larger looking in person than it appears in the photos. The master suite is huge and on the opposite side of the house from the other two bedrooms which makes it perfect for a couple traveling with friends. The house is situated at the edge of open space and at the end of a very quiet street so there was almost no noise. Everything in the house was well cared for. The hosts were very responsive and easy to work with.

Family Spring Break in the Mojave Desert and Joshua Tree NP

For the last 3 years we've spent spring break at VRBOs outside national parks. This one might be our favorite thus far. The location is easy to get to and has a great town to find food and drink but the views steal the show. Snow capped mountains to the left, desert sunrise to the right, and a view of the town below from the front porch. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and fit the 5 of us very well. The exterior had many fun features that made us wish we scheduled more time during the day to relax and enjoy. Most of our time was spent in Joshua Tree NP which was an easy drive in; We highly recommend this property and hope to visit again in the future.

Perfect location

Spent a week here with a friend. It was cold our entire stay but we were so comfortable at this house - we used the sauna everyday. The views are spectacular. The house is right on the edge of BLM land, so it really feels like you're in the desert. LOTS of birds. Location is ideal because it's about halfway between Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. The house itself has everything. Excellent, large kitchen and dining area. Working record player. Projector and pull down screen. Fireplace. Comfortable beds. Speedy wifi. Highly recommend.

Magical

Absolutely loved this property! I almost don't want to review it because it's a gem I want to keep secret. The property itself is beautifully and artfully decorated with a full rustic desert vibe. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need, we made a fire in the fireplace, and watched the sunset behind the Joshua trees from the hot tub every night-- pure magic! Communication with Timothy was easy and speedy as the hot tub had issues one day, but don't worry we fixed it! Our favorite part aside from having dance parties with the disco ball, was the accessibility to trails right from the driveway. It isn't as grand as the park, but it was SO PERFECT to be able to stroll through the desert at any point without driving anywhere. 100% recommend and will 100% be back, please don't ruin this diamond for me!

This was, by far, one of the best vacation rentals we've ever stayed at. Great location, amazing views, extremely clean, COMFY beds, thoughtful amenities, and clearly well taken care of. Our 2 and 5 year old loved the open space and the large projector. We will absolutely stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!

Stunning home

This was hands-down the best interior-designed place I've ever stayed at. Beautifully done, no detail overlooked, everything great-looking and also cozy and super usable. We had great communication with the hosts and they were very quickly responsive. Highly recommend this gorgeous place.

This place is great!

My family and I had a great stay at this property. The owners were very thoughtful in their amenities (how nice it was to have laundry detergent and dishwasher soap available). The place was clean and nicely decorated. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the views were beautiful. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Joshua Tree or just relax in the desert.

Perfect house, perfect view, perfect location

The house is located with panoramic views of Yucca Valley and way beyond. It‘s spacious, beautifully decorated with love and attention to thoughtful and stylish details. Well equipped kitchen… actually, everything in and around this house simply works well. Outside you can see passing mountain quails, desert owls, bunnies and the resident jack rabbit that nests just outside the master bedroom window. Of course the western entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is just 15-20 minutes away. More perfection, so bring hiking boots, lots of water and a camera. Big thank you to Laura and Tim for letting us stay in their beautiful house, and for responding to all our questions within minutes. We will be back. Claudia & Ric

Stunning Interior and Close to Joshua Tree Park

Our jaws literally dropped when we entered this property. The interior was stunning and spacious. It was clean with many places to sit and gather. Our favorite feature was the record player with amazing disco, bossa nova and our favorite: Cosmos soundtrack. We enjoyed cooking outside on the grill and even had pizza delivered. It is about 20-30 minute drive to Joshua Tree National Park. We were able to stretch ourselves on the yoga mats before our long day hike. The cowboy tub was warm and refreshing after our dusty adventure in the park. We definitely utilized the outside shower to rinse off. At night, my close friend played guitar and we roasted s'mores by the fire pit while the ladies lounged in the hot tub. After all of the fun activities, we cuddled on the couch and watched some fun alien movies. Would definitely stay again!

A beautiful and relaxing desert retreat!

After the long drive from the Bay Area, the house was an amazing landing pad. The pictures (as great as they are) don’t do justice to how welcoming and thoughtful the house is. The kitchen is well stocked, the house was spotless, the beds comfortable, and the outside space was incredible. From eating on the patio to playing cornhole to soaking in the tub - it was a perfect respite from normal life. My teenage daughters especially loved the dance party (complete with disco ball) we had every night. I especially loved the yoga mats and highly recommend a morning session on the sundeck. We didn’t have any issues, but the communication was great and I knew I would be able to reach someone if we did have a problem. We would definitely come back!

Exceeded all expectations!!

We loved staying at this fantastic getaway in the desert. We loved the design and styling of the house because it felt like our favorite hotel in Palm Springs, so we felt at home right away. Everything from the ease of checking in, to the instructions for all the amenities was so effortless and well thought out, it’s easy to see the hosts take immense pride in the space they’ve created. The bed was super comfortable, the showers had great pressure everything felt so clean and well thought out. Next time we stay here we will probably bring our own food to cook. We wanted to stay and relax but when we got hungry, leaving to find a restaurant always required a drive into town. Overall, we loved the vibe and comfort. The sunset views from the patio are incredible and it’s a super quiet neighborhood to enjoy a few days off in.

We now split our time between our live aboard boat in Marina del Rey and the desert amidst adventures to all corners of the globe.

Why they chose this property

After meeting on the dance floor of the Ace Hotel in nearby Palm Springs, we instantly bonded over our love for nature, hiking, and the desert. We fell in love with this property because of its expansive 360 views and unique privacy nestled into the side of a mountain amidst Joshua Tree groves. After a 6-month non-stop renovation, we were able to put our artistic stamp on this home to create our vision of the perfect hosting pad with modern desert artistic flare, spa amenities, fire pit, an updated kitchen fit for holidays, 100" projector, and the ability to enjoy the breath taking views from every room and every bed. We hope you enjoy our high desert home as much as we do!
