Ski family

Great location. Easy to walk to First Time lift. Make sure to get your tickets in advance because the first time ticket booth is not reliably open. Busses can take you anywhere else. Need about $8 in quarters if you need to do laundry while there. Loved it! Kitchen had all the useful tools and cookware you may need.

Great location

Great location. Walking distance to Park Cuty Resort (.3 miles) and downtown (.9 miles). On the free shuttle route. The condo is small but well stocked with shampoo, blow dryer, cleaning supplies, paper towels, extra blankets, etc. Excellent communication with the host. The walls are very thin but we didn’t hear anything but people returning in the evening. Overall a very good stay if you want to be able to park your car and enjoy the area without driving.

Perfect location

The property was very clean and the absolute best location for accessing the slopes. It was perfect for us and our kids given that they had their own room and their own beds. It was a quick 10 minute walk to the slopes, we loved the hot tub and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook most of the nights we were there. We could also walk to the grocery and Starbucks and the bus stop right outside the complex made it very convenient to get anywhere else we wanted to go. Would definitely recommend this property!

Good location

Location is great but the place needs updating. The shower heads came to my chest and bathrooms are small. Family room is dark and vertical blinds are old and noisy when the heat goes on. Tv is old and picture is grainy. The location is the best thing about this place.

Great location

My family really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was perfect for us as our 2 young adult sons each had their own bed in the second bedroom. The place is not large but is clean and more than adequate for 4 people who are away much of the day. The kitchen was well stocked and we especially appreciated the salt, pepper and other seasonings that were readily available. I was so thankful to find that there was laundry detergent under the kitchen sink when I needed it and had no time to run to the store! Same goes for paper towels! I found it especially nice that there were plenty of extra pillows, linens and blankets as well as many hangers for hanging clothing. These were very nice conveniences. My boys used and enjoyed the hot tub......but we never found the sauna (didn't look real hard....too busy). The location is only a few (maybe 5 minutes) walk from the ski resort and buses pass constantly headed to and from the resort. The bus system is a very good one and extremely easy to use. You really don't need a car unless you are planning to do alot outside of the city. We definitely look forward to our next stay in this location during out next visit.

5mn walk from the slopes & Great owner!

Location! Place is 5mn (not more and with kids!) walking distance from the ski domain and ski center (ski school and ticket office) and also 10mn walk from the fresh market food store (or just a stop by the free city bus). The appart had everything (except washing machine but known), all working and all amenities (even spare batteries for the TV and DVD remote controls) were included! the 3 rooms (2 bedrooms) are extremely convenient for kids on one side and parents on the over with the family room (kitchen/living room) in the middle with its fire place. Very professional and fast responding owner present all the way to help and assist from booking to handing back the security deposit well ahead of the 1 month agreed and also willing to accommodate specific requests if/when possible (cashing the deposit check a few days later and allowing us to stay a couple more hours in the apartment at the end of the stay). If we go back to Parc City, we wouldn't want anything BUT the same place! Not to forget heated pool and jacuzzi in the residence!!

Great location and kitchen

We were a group of 5 adults, 1 couple and 3 singles. We had a great time and were very, very happy with the accommodations. The location is, as everyone says, great. Free buses to town (grocery shopping, restaurants, etc.) stop right in front and a block behind the condo (any bus was going where we wanted to go). A few football fields walk to a lift gets you on the mountain (and lifts and gondolas are very well located to take you wherever you want to go for any level of skiing). Rentals etc. are available near that first lift. The 3 queen beds are comfortably firm. More than enough pillows and blankets. The living room couch worked fine for one of us (5"6") to sleep on. Everything in the condo is in good condition and works and we especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen (good pot set, plentiful dishes and silverware and glassware, olive oil, a few herbs and spices, everything one needs for simple cooking, plus a blender). Owner and local manager very easy to work with, very helpful. As we walked in, the condo did NOT look large and the kitchen is NOT large either (24" appliances). But, it was fully large enough for us to cook and eat in some nights. Between the condo and separate ski storage room, there was plenty of room for winter gear. We had a car and were glad to have a garage space indoors (first come, first served, but there was always a place for our car even after dinner at night). The car was a slight convenience (and it got us from and to the Salt Lake City airport as well as to an old favorite restaurant in Salt Lake City) but far from necessary. This condo and vacation were more than we hoped for.

Christmas in Park City is wonderful!

Our family of four had plenty of room! Our adult children were extremely happy with having their own full beds to sleep in during our stay. Condo is in a excellent location! Both Jon and Pat were readily available via text/cell. Our arrival instructions were easy to follow. We hope to go back to Park City soon!

New Years Eve 2016

This condo fit our needs perfectly. The living room is comfortable and there is plenty of room. The master bedroom is good, would've been perfect if it had a king size bed vs. a queen (but that's a personal thing). The extra bedroom was great for our 2 adult kids and was nice that they had their own bathroom. The property manager was very thorough, checking to be sure we got in and that everything was OK and alerted us to an issue (which wasn't a big deal). The bus for the area stopped right out front and we never waited more than 5 mins., tolerable even when it's -9. Park city resort is right across the street. They have underground parking and extra parking out front. For convenience, this place is it. Enjoyed our first time in Park City and hope to be back!

Home away from home

We first came upon this "hidden gem" in 2010 and have been returning for our yearly ski trip ever since. The owner is very reasonable and a pleasure to deal with; if any issues arise while on site, the manager is extremely responsive. The unit is quiet, clean, updated, well maintained, and with an open layout that unites the kitchen, dining, and living areas. This allows us to stay together, while not getting in the way. We have enjoyed plenty of home-cooked meals with the stocked kitchen (there are pots, pans, dinnerware, silverware, glassware, etc.) and newer appliances that have never failed us. We sit by the fireplace to chat and check email with the free WiFi (there is cable TV and a DVD player). Sometimes we step out and eat ice cream in the balcony, where we feel like we are in a treehouse surrounded by trees. The two spacious rooms have en-suite full bathrooms, with plenty of drawers and hangers to store all our clothes. Showers have good pressure and the water temperature is hot. Extra linens, toiletries, and even hairdryers are thoughtfully provided. Edelweiss Haus is located within walking distance from the Park City Mountain Resort and there is a bus stop in front of the property. There are supermarkets and stores (including Starbucks, Rite Aid, banks) in the area; Main Street, with its shops and restaurants, is a short drive away. We rent a car for the 40-minute drive from the SLC airport and, not being too adept with the ice-scraper, the underground parking is much appreciated. We have truly enjoyed our getaways and being able to stay at the Edelweiss is a big part of it since it has become our home away from home.

Great Location, Comfortable and Quiet

We are three seniors who spent 3 great nights in this wonderful condo located across from the PCMR. The stop for the free bus to town and the ski areas is right in front of the complex but this condo is at the back, so there was no street noise. The furnishings are clean, homey and the gas fireplace kept us warm and cozy. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot and the kitchen had all the amenities (except for a wine opener). The flat-screen TV and wi-fi were well used as was the jacuzzi. The owner, Pat, was very agreeable and returned my security deposit promptly. I highly recommend this condo and look forward to returning soon.

Why they chose this property

Location, location, location! The condo is a 5 minute walk to the lifts and a mile to Main St. No car is needed because of the free Park City Municipal Bus. The hot tub has a nice view of the mountain as well.
