About this property

Salt/Heated Pool Close to Beach Pet Friendly

I am a premier VRBO host- please visit my alternate Ocean Beach listing for more reviews! (Listing ID 1820716- 230 Wilmot Road, one block over.)

Enjoy your vacation in this large two story, 4 bedroom beach getaway. Each room has a dedicated AC/Heat unit. Living area has large kitchen with counter seating and dining table area. Den area has large TV and ample seating

On second floor-private master bedroom and full bath with a walk out deck. Back deck is large with a 16x9 salt water, heated pool and large outdoor shower.

Everything you would need is included in your stay. Linens, towels, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, wagon, Verizon FIOS wifi and streaming apps (Disney, Hulu, Netflix..) In the kitchen you find all necessary utensils, cooking pots and pans, commonly used spices, coffee maker, Keurig and blender.

Bathrooms will be stocked with starter set of shampoo and toilet paper. Kitchen will have paper towels, dishwashing soap and trash bags at a minimum. Laundry soap will be available.

Pre order your food for the week through Bay Shore Shop Rite or Bay Shore King Kullen (go on the websites early to reserve your delivery spot!). Not a far walk from the house is The Pantry which has everything else you may need.

Check in is at 4pm. Check out at 10:30am, can leave luggage on deck and enjoy the day in town., Can use the outdoor shower up until 2pm.

Fees I charge are: 5.5% Tax, $200 cleaning, $125 rental permit.

This house is on a quiet block on the west side of town (away from the chaos as people say). If your intention is to have large groups and have loud 'parties', this isn't your house. Please make your stay enjoyable and respect your neighbors!

We had a wonderful stay at this Fire Island home! The house was very clean and exactly as pictured. The location was perfect, just a short walk to both the beach and town. Frank, the owner, was extremely responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d definitely return!

Wonderful house!

The house was as just as described. Rooms were very comfortable, had a lovely and very spacious deck and a heated pool. When not at the beach, staying in the house was equally a treat!

This was my first experience with VRBO, and I must say everything was perfect. The host, Frank, was so helpful and pleasant with all communications- very responsive with any questions. You can tell that Frank takes pride in his property and wants his guests to enjoy themselves. The home is beautiful and perfect and comfortable for a family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning for another family gathering. The deck with the pool was a definite plus that we all enjoyed- especially my grandchildren. The beach is so close, and shops and restaurants are a short stroll or bike ride away. Thanks again, Frank, for sharing your home with us.

Gem oasis

We have such a lovely stay at Frank’s oasis in fire island. The house was perfectly located to town and close to the beach. The house was very lovely and clean but the outside stole the show. It was perfect for hanging out and made our trip that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying here! Frank was also a pleasure to work with.

Great FI Getaway

This house is beautiful and the deck is amazing! A short walk to the beach and when you need a break from the sand and heat, the pool is a great option to cool off. Frank was a very accommodating owner who was quick to respond to questions and made sure the house had everything we needed. Overall- great house, great spot. I would definitely recommend this house and look forward to booking it again next year.
