Wonderful Stay in Grand Junction
We had a wonderful stay in Grand Junction. The house was clean, nice and comfortable. It was just a short walk to downtown where we found some great restaurants. I would stay there again if we go back.

About the host

Host profile image
We are family of 5 who live and adventure in Colorado. Our boys are 8, 6, and 3. They keep us on our toes but make life so fun. We love being hosts, and we have over four years of hosting experience. We invite you to be our guests and enjoy The Abbott House!

Why they chose this property

The Abbott House is fully revived 1915 cottage, right in downtown Grand Junction. It has beautiful features like original floors and windows give the house so much life and character. How did we get the name "The Abbott House"? Dalton Trumbo was an acclaimed albeit controversial writer, screenwriter, academy-award winner, and political figure in the early 1900's. He was born in Montrose, CO and spent much of his childhood in Grand Junction. One of his novels is called Eclipse; the main character of that book is named John Abbott.

What makes this property unique

- Proximity to downtown Main Street - only 3 blocks away!
- Two separate ensuite bathrooms - one in the master and one in the other bedroom; this is great for couples, parents with kids, and friend groups.
- Kids lounge with games, puzzles, and dedicated TV.
- Ability to sleep 6 people easily in beds.
- 400 mbps Wi-Fi - great for streaming, gaming, Zoom calls, and everyday internet usage.
-YouTubeTV included on both TVs.
- Modern, natural design in a 1915 revived cottage.
- Central air conditioning.
