Beautiful view. Great cabin! The cabin was fully stocked with everything you would need to have a peaceful getaway. The cabin was also very clean and fresh not a cobweb to be found anywhere. The owners were kind and great to work with. There are many things close by to do Gem mining,tubing,white water rafting and much more.

Great views

The views were fantastic and the location was good. A few issues I must share with you guys. You have to make your bed from scratch as well as take it all of before you leave, which is time consuming and kills the vacation feel. The fridge has no light inside. Ceiling on the loft has some stink bugs. The extra folding bed in the closet is very uncomfortable. The one thing that totally made us forget about our vacation was the trash. As a check out rule, we had to take all our trash to the collection center. We were leaving on Sunday, so that center was closed and we had to drive back home with 2 trash bags filled with garbage. Good we had a big car. We were disposing that garbaga in portions since all gas stations had their trash cans filled to the top and public dumbing is $500 fine. It was horrible. I had to share it with you. Otherwise, beds were comfy, pretty clean.

Perfect little get-away!

We had a great time staying at the chalet. It was so clean and comfortable and the location was beautiful. The view of the mountains from the chalet was idyllic and so peaceful - just what we were looking for. The chalet was very well stocked and also very spacious. The hosts were excellent and went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this chalet!

Picturesque Mountain Cabin

The cabin was clean and pretty well stocked. We arrived at the cabin after a snowfall so we just would have appreciated access to a shovel to clear the walkways. We enjoyed the quiet getaway.

The view was incredible! The big lovely windows and deck gave constant access to look out to the mountain ranges looking North. The cabin was perfect and comfy and super clean. We were celebrating 38 years of marriage so this was a perfect place to reflect and celebrate. Judy checked in with us to make sure all was well too. Wonderful. We plan to return💕

AMAZ-ING VIEW

This cozy a frame has the best views I’ve found yet. Access is easy as well. Did I mention the views ? We’ve stayed here over 4 times now and loved it every time. The owners are super nice and easy to work with. Quite - peaceful and relaxing. Saw 5 deer and a flock of turkeys out the back deck. Murphy has all the amenities you’ll need for supplies. Rib Country BBQ is great! We’ve been here in summer and winter and it’s beautiful either time.

Wonderful

We've stayed in many places over the years but this is by far our favorite. The view is outstanding and the cabin is so clean and comfortable. There was nothing that was missing in the kitchen and we do cook meals when we stay. Our 3 year old grandson came one day for lunch and was so excited to see the acorns dropping from the trees and the open sky with the mountains. His parents thought this was a great place to spend a weekend and will plan for some time in the future. We will be back! Respectfully Lee and Carol

Great Place

The views from the back deck and loft bedroom are really wonderful. You’ll want to ditch your plans and just hang out there all day. Clean, comfortable, special place with great communication from the owners. I would definitely rent again when in the area. BONUS: If you are attending the John C. Campbell Folk School, this is a good place to stay. It’s about a quick ten minute drive down pretty country roads.

Great Place-coming back in Spring

Just as advertised everything was in place. Did not need anything except groceries. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Immediately felt at home the first day and throughout the week. Close enough to Murphy and Blairsville but far enough out to be in the mountains. Highly recommend this place to others.
