The house was in an excellent location for us just 4 or 5 minutes to Westport area and even closer to a nice city park. Owner responded immediately to our only issue, when unusually cold weather sapped the batteries for the electronic lock.
Place was a lot smaller than pictures made it look. Furniture in living room needs updated and was not what was in pictures. Outside area was a little sketch.
This is a very charming house with 3 bedrooms that were all comfortable. The linens were fresh and plentiful. The living area is small but the kitchen well appointed with new appliances and a huge refrigerator. There was good shopping for groceries and other needs nearby. It is located in a neighborhood that is turning and being comfortable in an urban area is necessary. We so enjoyed sitting on the front porch and enjoying beautiful weather in KC during our stay. There was a beautiful sunset the first evening we sat on the porch
We had a nice stay at this property. It was a treat to have a whole house as opposed to a shared building, like an apartment. We enjoyed being able to walk the neighborhood with our dog.
this house is so nice! nicely decorated and has all the things you would need for your stay (silverware, dinnerware, iron, etc)! overall was a great trip!
We really enjoyed our time. The house was adorable. And we enjoyed how close the house was to The Plaza and other venues. We especially enjoyed the Oddly coffee place that was within walking distance. The only suggestions I would make is to leave a bit more information at the home itself for how things work ( some faucets hot and cold workings were backwards)
( how to work washing machine/ dryer). The dryer vent appeared not to have been cleaned in sometime perhaps due to it’s location). The only other challenge was the steep hill but it was a good challenge for my daily walk with our dog
Thanks so Much
We enjoyed our time in Kansas City

You get what you pay for
While there is a list of things that felt underwhelming about this stay, ultimately, the price and location were fine. If you don’t mind staying at a place that feels like “you get what you pay for”—this is a great place.
Here’s the list of frustrations:
- booked for 6 people, but only 3 towels and 3 coffee mugs were available
- The floors were not very clean. Dust everywhere, crumbs/cheerios on the floors. Whoever cleaned did a small brush through, but I wouldn’t call this place clean.
- There were no trash bags available in the kitchen. At all.
- Communication was frustrating with the host. When I contacted her about the trash bags, she said “there are some under the sink”. When I told her the box was empty, she said she’d call the cleaner to see where they were. I never heard back. We bought our own trash bags.
Again, nothing majorly wrong. I wasn’t impressed, but I wasn’t appalled. 3 stars.
The house was what we needed and we had plenty of space. We were a bit concerned about the neighborhood but we never had any problems! We were happy that we we were able to have our small 4-legged family members with us. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Extremely Dirty Vrbo
There was blood on the bed sheets, hairs in bed, blood on a night stand, vomit on a comforter, trash piled up outside, thickest cobwebs I’ve ever seen, stains all over the couch and comforters. Never experienced anything like that in my life.
Great location! Super close to the city and it’s attractions.
My group of 7 had plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out.
Host was very quick to respond to questions and concerns!
The house we stayed at was beautifully decorated and quaint. It was nice for each of us to have our own space while staying in KC. The house was situated on a hill but that was not an issue. It was located really close to all the activities that we had planned for the week. It was a good space for us to stay in.
