This property was AMAZING! Such a relaxing get away. It is close enough to Waco to still be convenient, but far enough away to make you feel relaxed and like you’re taking a vacation. The house was beautiful and clean, and the host was fabulous. Highly recommend.

The house was easy to access and was quiet during our stay. Able to sit by the fire and enjoy the outdoors. River was easily accessible for fishing but some areas can be steep for little children. Overall, we had a great experience. Host was great with communication.
This property has everything you need in a relaxing atmosphere! Exactly as described. You could not ask for a more perfect place to visit and catch up with family/friends or just get away from the stress of everyday life. Highly recommend!!!
Beautiful property! Cozy and comfortable. Just as described in the listing. Perfect place to catch up and unwind with our son. While still being close enough to Waco and Baylor. Look forward to staying again on our next trip to Waco!
We rented this Vrbo for our honeymoon. It was perfect. Quiet, secluded, clean and absolutely gorgeous. It was just what we were looking for. We plan stay again in June 2026 when we return on our next visit if available.
Loved the stay. Thanks for sharing your place! We have family who live by Waco, so from visiting to shopping and site seeing, we can leave the choas and come back to nature and the river. Watching Gods creation and creatures! We were there for 2 weeks and saw deer everyday we were there.
The property was in a great location! Close to town, yet in the country. The place was immaculate! The bathrooms felt like you were at a spa. We loved all the natural light from the windows. We were able to sit outside on the deck for all of our meals. I would definitely recommend this place!

We are delighted you enjoyed The Brazos River Bungalow. So much work was put into this home and property. The owners wanted our guest to be as comfortable as possible and truly enjoy their stay. It is gratifying to see our efforts have paid off.
Our stay was wonderful. This bungalow is a beautiful, first class property, nestled in the woods on the Brazos. Coffee on the porch was lovely, as was the time we spent inside. The bedding, the showers....all 1st class. The owners were also very accommodating. We will definitely return!

Juli, we are so happy you enjoyed your stay. This is one of our favorite properties to manage. Truly a wonderful place to stay.
Our stay was beautiful, secluded and comfortable. We had fires, played cornhole, watched the river flow by and listened to the myriad of bird songs. We visited the many nearby attractions then came back to our comfortable bungalow to relax. Thank you for the many thoughtful conveniences and luxuries!!
We absolutely loved this home. Near Waco, but out in rural farmland. So quiet and lovely location, overlooking the river. We were in town so I could participate in the Ironman triathlon. Home was close enough to town that we had no trouble getting downtown and back for race events. Very peaceful for post-race rest and recovery. Definitely recommend this property.
Absolutely wonderful! A definite repeat for our family!
Five stars are not enough. The Bungalow was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house provided all our needs and the location was the icing on the cake. So peaceful and beautiful! The owner was very responsive to our needs. The bungalow was very clean. Our stay was wonderful!!! We highly recommend. Thank you to our host for providing such great accommodations. This truly was an amazing experience!
We came for the eclipse and the Brazos River Bungalow was awesome in every way and made our trip and eclipse experience so much better than we expected. We really appreciated all the lovely touches and features, such as the detailed and easy-to-follow directions, wonderfully comfortable furnishings and lovely decor and lighting, responsive communication, clear signage, relaxing porch and outdoor seating and lighting, good internet, excellent air conditioning, 3 ply toilet paper, bug spray and citronella candles, well stocked basics in the kitchen and bathrooms, jigsaw puzzles, streaming services availability, visitor guides, easy parking, views of the soothing river right from the porch, and close proximity and easy access to the heart of Waco. It all combined to make our trip flawless. Oh and there's a hammock! And cornhole! We decided to watch the eclipse from the front yard, and it was amazing. They even provided eclipse glasses and a souvenir postcard! Highly highly recommend staying here when visiting Waco or anywhere nearby!
Such a peaceful place to relax. Big, nice porch to drink your coffee and watch the river. Super clean, owner was very responsive. Nice touches included for your convenience. Would definitely stay again.
Overall, everything was nice, outside was kept up, sitting on the deck in the mornings was nice. (Too may bugs in the evening).
A little farther out of town than we thought , so eat while you're in town or plan to cook at home.
Would love to have seen a cleared path down to the river, amybe with a landing area of sorts.
