Charming house on the heights of a Cathar village. Ideal for families
This house, located in the heart of a beautiful, quiet yet lively village with shops, is located in the Lauragais region between the Montagne Noire, Toulouse, and Carcassonne.
Many activities enliven our castle village during the summer: Vélorail, tours and concerts at the castle, exploring the village's magnificent mills, visiting the Déodat de Severac Museum, dedicated to the composer's life and life of de village in the past, a Friday market under the covered market, fishing alongside the ducks lake, hiking, visits to neighboring hamlets, a guinguette, gourmet dining on the terraces of the bastide's bistros, and finally, contemplating the sunsets with the extraordinary 360-degree view from the heights of this Cathar village...
Just 15 minutes from the village, there are numerous activities, including swimming and water sports in lake of Saint Feréol, the Revel market, one of the most beautiful in the region, hiking in the Montagne Noire, its via ferrata, its discovery trail of the birth of the Canal du Midi, bike or boat trips on the same famous canal, and visits to extraordinary Cathar villages.
Just 40 minutes from the village, you can also visit the Cité de l'Espace in Toulouse and its many museums and theaters, a very medieval tour of the city of Carcassonne, or even summer evenings within the walls of the open-air theater of the city of Carcassonne, where the biggest national and international headliners perform, or a visit to the magnificent city of Castres.
In 1 to 1.5 hours, you can head to the seaside or the Pyrenees, or experience the thrill of the 70-meter suspension bridge. The heights of Mazamet, which will take you to the medieval village of Hautpoul.
