Studio near Vashon Town

Relax in this cozy studio located on the west (back) side of the Cottonwood Farmhouse, on Vashon Island. A full kitchen, barbecue, shared laundry, parking, and outdoor fire pit and picnic area under a massive old willow make this property special. It is walking distance to Island Center Forest for hiking or mountain biking, and just 3/10 of a mile from the town of Vashon with fabulous restaurants, galleries, and wineries and breweries.The studio is comfortable for 2-3 guests. For a larger group, the Farmhouse, which sleeps 2-9, and Cottonwood Studio (sleeps2) may also be available.

There is a fully equipped kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining tables, a barbecue, an electric fireplace/heater, a bathroom with a shower and off street parking. The studio was recently refurbished and is a sweet, clean and comfortable cottage. The space works best for 1 or 2 people, but there is also the option of a 3rd person in the loft which is accessed by a ladder. The studio has its own private entrance and outdoor area. It is on the west side (back) of the Vashon Farmhouse 5 acre property. The red sign next to the entry door says Willow Studio

Quick, quaint and quiet!

Small one-room studio on the backside of a farmhouse; private, easy access, adjacent parking, sparsely furnished, old but very clean, great daylight! Perfect for a short stay! 1 minute drive, or very long walk, to town.

Accommodations were clean and comfortable and convenient. Saw Lisa several times during stay-always friendly and helpful and accommodating. I asked for a late checkout and she generously allowed it at the last minute. Great place to stay (with my small dog) for the week. Thank you!

What a cute little spot! It had everything one would need to unwind and relax. My stay was related to work for the week, so I didn’t get to enjoy all that Vashon has to offer. This place is perfect for a couple’s getaway on the island, close to town and yet private enough to sit outside and watch the deer eat pears off of the trees. I can’t wait to come back!

Where to stay for an all day worshop

It was colder inside than I expected and as I turned off the heat when I left, it was very cold when I returned after my workshop each day. that was my only issue.

Vashon studio stay

Cute, cozy studio close to Vashon's downtown district. Great communication with the property owner. A lovely play to stay for a solo trip for quiet time or for a couple. Nice amenities at the studio, including kitchen supplies and coffee.
