The property is in the perfect location for a visit to Montpelier! Great restaurants and events are nearby. Very cozy! Great host! Expect what you would expect from a historic home. We will return.
I have previously stayed at this location when it was operated as a bed and breakfast, this time it is only a lodging spot with complimentary drinks which was conveyed in the listing. The home is lovely and easily located in Orange, with quick access to many historical areas. While the Fenton is listed as having a bathroom, which it does, it is a tiny water closet at best. There is no standard size mirror or sink, the shower is also quite small. Overall, our stay was fine, but I did not like the ridiculously small bathroom.

Hi Angie! Sorry that the bathroom did not meet your needs. The other five guest rooms all have larger bathrooms, with the Biltmore Suite even having two sinks and two mirrors. Now that you've stayed in two rooms at the Holladay House, we hope you'll try the others! :-)
Pat & Monica made the check in process seamless. The room was so charming with everything we needed to enjoy our time in Orange. The Thornhill home was marvelous as a whole, as well.
