Winterset 3 is a gorgeous 4 bedroom/4 bathroom condo in the beautiful mountain landscape of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. This bright and spacious condo is spanned across four levels with plenty of room for the entire family. Upon entering, you are on the main level that offers a large entryway leading to the kitchen. This condo comes fully stocked with all of the linens, soaps, and paper goods while the kitchen is equipped with all of the pots, pans, and utensils needed to cook up a nice meal for the family. Just off of the kitchen is the large dining room space with seating for 6 and an additional 5 at the countertop bar. As you continue through the condo, the main level opens up into a beautiful, spacious living room equipped with plush furniture, a large flat screen TV, a gas fireplace, and a conveniently connected full bathroom. Just outside of the living room is the patio area with a private hot tub overlooking stunning views of the Yampa Valley.

As you head up the stairs, you will find the bedrooms. To the right is the master bedroom with a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and private patio. To the left are the other two bedrooms, one with a king bed, and the other with a queen bed. Both bedrooms are attached with a shared ensuite bathroom.

Continuing up the spiral staircase, you will find a large, open loft area with 2 twin over twin bunk beds and a large ensuite bathroom. The bottom level of this condo is where you will find the shared garage with room for one mid-sized vehicle inside and one vehicle outside (cannot bring two large SUVs or trucks).

We loved this house/condo. Very clean, comfortable beds with a great amount of space for a family. I was with three 18-20 year olds. A lot of bathrooms and even one of the top floor with the bunk room. We used the hot tub every night and the shuttle to the mountain was easy to catch each day. They were very responsive and we were texted we could arrive early! My only concern was the awkward driveway. I navigated it and the write up warns of needing 4 wheel drive but it’s very steep. It was slippery and didn’t get sun so had a lot of ice. We used the garage at night.

Great visit!

The space was perfect for our group and the location was awesome! Steps to the free bus and walking distance to the slopes. Also loved the hot tub. Would definitely stay again!

Fun trip with the boys

Perfect for a mountain vacation hub. The driveway was interesting but Uber was easy enough to get around. Ideal spot for fishing and outdoor activity access. Plus the view from the hot tub is outstanding. Would definitely grab this place again next trip

This was a great property and close to the ski resort. Beautiful inside and out. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. My family had a great time. Do recommend getting a 4 wheel drive, as communicated in the posting. With all the snow it is needed. Would recommend this place 100%.

Easy walk to shuttle except for steep driveway. Grips on ski boots in icy conditions recommended. Positives-hot tub, unbeatable view, beds, close to shuttle. Only negative would have been if all 10 of our party had come on vacation, ww would have been cramped. I am glad there were only 5 of us (all adults). Den and hot tub would not accomodate more than 5. Otherwise, the home was wonderful

Great Location/Stay

Everything about the unit was fantastic. Hot tub was great, views were great, communication was great, overall unit was great. Two issues that I feel need to be mentioned for guests. 1) the Driveway is the wildest situation I've ever had to navigate through. The property manager is very responsive but do NOT try to drive down the driveway if it hasn't been plowed/salted. I slid down twice and almost wrecked. Very scary stuff. I sent a note and the manager had someone salt/plow so it was fine after but I would not recommend driving on the driveway whether you have 4WD or not unless it's been cleared. 2) There is not washer/dryer in the unit which was disappointing based off how many rooms/how many people it accommodates. The shared washer/dryer room is very "The Shining" esque and you also have to pay $1 to dry clothes which seemed a little petty. Other than those two, the stay, communication and unit are awesome but just want to give an overall picture for the stay.

Excellent condo with sunset hot tub views

Our group of friends had a fabulous stay at Winterset 3! Comfortable beds, updated bathrooms, a great gathering room area with a fireplace to play games and cards, and sunset hot tub views, this place can’t be beat! The kitchen was stocked with all you’d need to host a few friends for dinner and the house was super cozy. We spent 3 days on the mountain and it was just as easy to walk to the hill (10-15 min walk) as it was to take a shuttle. Super easy getting to and from town on the bus too. All around great location and great find. We’ll definitely be back!
