This property is excellent for a larger group that wants to spend time outdoors at the property. It is, of course, also located close to many of the well-known Hocking Hills trails; however, you do not need to leave the property to enjoy outdoor activities.
The pool was heated and very warm. The hot tub was also a nice place after hiking. The location is great! The beds were comfortable. We would definitely recommend and rent again.

Liked: Cleanliness
The large swimming pool and game room were a huge hit! We loved sitting around the fire pit.
The only downside was the beds felt kind of small. Great time was had by all. We will definitely return again!

Not what we expected
House was dirty and not cleaned, hot tub was not clean, kitchen was not properly stocked with usable pots/pans/etc, pond was not stocked. Lots of disappointing things about this property.
We had a wonderful stay. 2 families, 6 kids aged 3-10. Communication and cleanliness were top notch! Our kids had a great time sledding and utilizing all the house had to offer!
My party and I had a great time at this property. Nick was very responsive and accommodating. The cabin/lodge was a perfect size and fit our large group comfortably. I would recommend bringing your family / friends here for a weekend getaway!
Excellent property, well maintained, thoughtfully appointed. Our group had kids who had a blast the entire weekend with the pool and all the games they had access to.
Host was very responsive, and answered all questions promptly. Will return again.
Easy check In and check out. Nick was very accommodating and responded quickly to messages. Pool was great for the kids, pond was fully stocked and hot tub views were amazing! Kids loved the bunk beds and we slept on the bottom and they were surprisingly comfortable. Would highly recommend staying and we will be back!
There were 15 of us, ages 9 to 73! Grandma, Grandpa, 3 kids & their spouses, 7 grandchildren! Even when the weather was a bit 'iffy', there was enough of a variety of indoor activities to keep everyone entertained! The pool, fishing pond, and bonfire area were outdoor plusses!
Some thing need to be fixed the door to the pool you can open from the outside. The gnats in the kitchen area were very annoying some dish washer soap would be nice! Overall very nice cabin and pool is beautiful!! Also it would be nice if you labeled the valve to turn the slide on had to guess at that. There were plenty of towels comfortable beds and lots for the kids to do!
Very peaceful and clean property. Very nice pool and pool area. Large kitchen. We stayed 3 nights and made dinner/ grilled out 2 nights. Hot tub was also very clean. We enjoyed our stay. We contacted host because we couldn’t figure out how to turn on pool slide and he responded right away. Really enjoyed outdoor ping pong table and corn hole boards that were available also. Teens liked indoor games as well. We booked for quick getaway to celebrate my 50th birthday with family and we enjoyed very much! Would recommend.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and had a great weekend. The pool was great and communication with host was great. The beds were comfortable and lots of towels were provided. Our only disappointment was that the price did not match the quality. The house was minimally stocked with very low end items. The pans were awful to cook with, only 6 forks so we had to do dishes every time after we ate, no blow dryers, etc. There were a few things broken or not in great working order. Nothing effected our stay but we felt for the price we paid it did not meet our expectations or the quality we are used to with other places we have stayed at for the same price point.
This was an amazing place. We were very impressed with it all. There were 19 of us , ranging from 8months up to 61 in age. Lots of room for us all. The pool was a BiG plus. Absolutely beautiful. The kids were entertained enough to let the adults enjoy the time as well. Most definitely going to be a yearly thing for our family. We give it an A++
