Great location for access to Lake and amenities center. Condo was great for the two of us, both upstairs and downstairs decks have a beautiful view. Only drawback is both master and half bathrooms are downstairs.

Thanks for your review. I do agree about the bath and half bath both being downstairs. I am going to look into possibility of a half bath upstairs. The only good thing about it is that you get more exercise, lol. John
Very roomy condo and exceptionally well equipped. Large decks overlooking the lake and we were there in the winter, so had great views of the lake. Fireplace was greatly appreciated on cold evenings. This location is centrally located to many of the outstanding attractions of this region of North Carolina. John is a great host and well versed on all the amenities of this location and region!

Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Let me know if you want to plan another trip
Best regards,
John
The property was just as advertised. It had plenty of room and storage.
The advertised amenities are in need of repair especially the golf courses.
The amenities center had disgraceful table tennis and pool tables.
First, it was as advertised. Nice, clean condo. Tried golf course, but needs some TLC. All other golf courses are private except for one and it needs TLC as well. Hiking was great...restaurants very good....nice little towns/villages to visit. Sitting on deck in the morning enjoying mid sixties temps was wonderful...a relaxing get away...mf

Thanks much for your review. Glad you enjoyed your visit and perhaps you will rent again. I am hoping to go up myself late October or early November and see the leaves change. Its really beautiful up there at that time.

This property is in very good condition. Has everything we needed and more. Nothing was broken; just a bit outdated. But it was exactly as I had thought and we had a delightful stay! Bonus points on the plexiglass overhang! Having both bathrooms on the ground floor was kinda strange, but not that big of a deal. It took longer to walk to the lake than I'd thought, but again, not a biggie. I'd definitely stay here again!!

We mostly enjoyed our stay and the location is great, but the house has a mold problem. The house is poorly ventilated in the downstair bedrooms and is contently moist even when running the dehumidifier 24/7. We were having issues with nasal and chest congestions while sleeping and felt terrible every morning when we woke up. It took use more than a week to determine what was going on. We had a few more days on our booking and no where else to go so we went and bought air purifiers from Lowes and it helped us sleep a little better but we still felt congested. It took more than a week to recover from the mold exposure once we were home. Its too bad the homeowner has not delt with this issue because its otherwise a decent place to stay but this could be a serious detriment to someone's long-term health if not addressed.

Great Location
Traveling with my wife & my two young daughters, we had a wonderful stay. The condo is in the perfect location for all the waterfall hikes, great restaurants (definitely recommend "the game keeper" within walking distance across hwy 64) and with all the amenities that come with staying in the Sapphire Valley Resort property were an extra bonus. Walk the Fairfield lake for swimming, hiking, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddle boards and more...all at a reasonable rate- they even offer free sailing lessons. then there is the community & recreational center just a few miles down 64 with putt-putt golf, indoor pool & two out door pools & more. The condo itself is a bit dated but very clean, comfortable & well stocked with everything you need...besides, you are hardly in the condo except to sleep as there is so much to do in the area. The owner was very easy to deal with and even phoned us to make sure all was good. We hope to return soon.
This property was even better than expected and we had a wonderful time. While I know some people will look at the furniture and decide this unit isn't for them because it's not the NC cabiny look. However, if you do that you'll be missing out on a wonderful place.
Everything about this unit is what we really wanted. The bed is very comfortable. It is well stocked with everything including great towels, which I looked for online to see if I could buy somewhere. The shower is very nice. The heaters in the rooms made it comfy on the cooler nights we had. We loved playing scrabble on the covered deck while getting a view of the lake and even staying dry when it rained. While I am not a big fan of always going up and down steps to use the bathroom and not always having phone service, the trade-offs of what we had for a good price were well worth it. We couldn't have asked for a better host and will definitely be interested in staying here again. PS when they say there are bears - believe them!

Thanks for your review. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Let me know if you want it again. I agree about the stairs down to the bath rooms. I am going to look into possibility of a half bath upstairs. The stairs do give you good exercise though, but at 83 I can guess I need the exercise. John
This property was fantastic from the beginning to the end the property owner was great the place was really nice and exceptionally clean we couldn't have asked for a better place to collect our selves and get some much-needed rest I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to just chill out. Just bring your food and enjoy!!!
The property is very convenient to the lake and other Sapphire Valley
amenities. The unit is well stocked with kitchen utensils and other items you need when traveling. The decor is pleasing and the bed and furniture are comfortable. The host is available by phone and responsive to any needs that pop up. The bathrooms are on the lower floor which is somewhat inconvenient but I would stay there again because of the other attributes.

Thank you for the review, always good to know that my guests have enjoyed their stay. Best regards, John
I was looking for peaceful and comfortable and this was one of the best vacations I've had. For a New Year's stay we really lucked out with the weather. I was prepared to spend the long weekend inside by the fireplace (which we did multiple nights), but it turned out even better than expected. We had breakfast on the deck every morning overlooking the lake and even took a couple of hikes. Right outside the door is about a 4-mile trail around the lake which includes a waterfall. It was a full weekend and we still did not take advantage of all there is to offer. I'm looking forward to going back when we can rent kayaks on the lake and enjoy the pool and hot tub!

Thanks for the reviews. Always nice to know that guests enjoy their visit to Beautiful Cashiers. Perhaps you can visit again. Best regards, John A.
We really enjoyed staying here. Easy walk to Fairfield Lake, well appointed kitchen, and easy check in process. The condo was very clean and well decorated. We enjoyed playing the provided games Jenga and Connect Four. We look forward to staying again hopefully in the near future.
Lovely condo in the perfect hilltop location The lake is just beautiful with the condo overlooking. The owner was so nice explaining the details of the condo, arrival/departure, local restaurants, amenities available at the resort. The condo is well appointed and very lovely. We will certainly return.
We have stayed previously at several locations in the area and this one by far has been the best. We had no problem locating the unit using our GPS along with owner's very clear guidance.
This is an end unit and beautifully decorated with every convenience you might expect. We both loved the gorgeous trees around the property as well as how quiet the neighborhood is. The two back porches overlook these trees with the large lake peaking through. One here can do as much as you want or just hang out. All the amenities you can think of are available through the community center as well as lake rentals.
The owner obviously has renovated this unit to make it most comfortable and not a typical rental. We are a couple in our 80's however we like to stay active hiking, walking, visiting Water Falls, surrounding areas and enjoying this beautiful North Carolina weather. The bedroom is quite a large area with a king bed and a porch across the width of room. There is a large sofa upstairs that can be made into a sleeper couch if necessary. The overall area in Sapphire is well manicured and golf courses to challenge any ones skill. We did not have any problems during our stay.
