Catching up with a friend was the purpose of my trip to Madison. The location of the property was great, giving us many restaurant options and easy access to shopping. Communication with the host was prompt and helpful.

Lovely Monona neighborhood

This Side B getaway was perfect for the two of us. Quiet and lovely Monona neighborhood, easy access to shopping and the belt line, and great communication with the host. Comfortable couches and beds and very clean! We would stay again!

Property has recent storm damage that has exposed soffit in the back of the house. This has provided a large opening for animals, and both nights we were awoken multiple times to the sound of animals running around either in the soffit or in the attic above us. We could hear then scratching and even urinating. We communicated the issue with the owner, and he is looking into it. He offered us a late check out and credit, but didn't follow through with the credit. He is nice, but I don't recommend staying at the property until repairs are completed.

Really Nice!

Overall very good experience! The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was nice. The shower has a good amount of pressure and can get nice and hot. I would stay there again.

Owner Double Booked - Stranded - Beware

The owner of this property doublebooked and left us stranded in the 11th hour. Owner tried to get us to Cancel the reservation (then we would NOT receive a refund) Luckily we called VRBO direct and they reached out to the owner and they were able to give us the refund and helped us book a better situation.

It served it's purpose.

The property was clean, however the outdoor space is very overgrown, so not really useable. I appreciated the ability to park off the street. The listing said it had a washer and dryer, however they are not accessible. When I asked the owner on the day we arrived, we never heard back. Now the listing says they are available with an additional fee. The beds were very soft - not my favorite, but if you like a soft bed, you've got it. There are plenty of sheets and towels available for use, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The Roku TV was helpful when the connection didn't fail (which happened multiple times). The location is not on the water, but it's not far at all. About a 5-10 minute drive to multiple bodies of water and great parks and restaurants. Check in and check out were super easy. All in all, this place served it's purpose for my son and I. We had a clean place to sleep.
