We had a great stay. Communications before our arrival were timely and informative. The apartment was well stocked with living necessities, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed being close to our daughter's home. Great property, lovely home, gracious hostess - what more can you ask for? Well, a beautiful setting close to Woodstock, mountain-biking, Killington all provided the backdrop for a lovely stay! Beds are quite comfortable. Love that we could bring our pups with us. Can definitely see coming back in the winter for stayover on our ski trips.

This house was perfect for our family during our vacation in the Woodstock area. Ellen and Curtis were terrific hosts and made us feel more like houseguests than mere visitors. Their property was great for our young kids - all kinds of stuff to do! Ellen sent us lots of helpful ideas on things we might enjoy in the area. The listing was just as described and was very comfortable despite the higher than usual summer temperatures. We would be delighted to stay here again should we visit the area again.

This is our second time staying here and we enjoyed the location, communication, and space. The bread from the Woodstock farmers market was perfect, too. Would highly recommend if you need a spot to sleep while visiting the area.

Very clean!! The owners respond quickly to the text that we sent. We were fortunate to meet them in person, they very kind. After we left, we received a text that we had left something behind. We had been gone less than 10 minutes, so it was very easy to turn around and retrieve the item.We had more than enough space for three adults and felt this was it was very affordable. We were happy that we didn't stay at one of the corporate owned condos that we had looked at. Nana's House made us feel right at home!

We are retired Vermonters who enjoy a great quality of life here in Vermont. We also enjoy meeting new people. Having grown up in the area, we know our part of the world quite well and we enjoy sharing these gems with our quests.

Why they chose this property

Our property is a wooded 10 acres on a back road, our neighbors have been the same neighbors for the last 50+ years. I guess we are all pretty happy here. It is quiet with lots of wildlife, pristine water, with a beautiful brook for most of the year. You can see the stars at night because we do not have light pollution.
