Tradewinds Condominium is located in the heart of Orange Beach, Alabama (about 5.5 miles east of Gulf, Shores, Alabama). It sits directly on one of the country's highest rated beaches. It has one of the area's best indoor/outdoor swimming pools and easy access to the beach (with a boardwalk with showers).

Tradewinds is located directly across the street from Adventure Island (go carts, mini golf, laser tag) and Fat Daddy's Arcade. It is only minutes away from great restaurants, grocery stores, and all the attractions including The Wharf, The Track (go carts), and Waterville USA (waterpark, go carts). OWA (amusement park, waterpark, dining, shopping) and Tanger Outlet Mall are located about 20 miles away in Foley, Alabama.

This 6th floor unit is elevated enough to provide you with a great ocean view. There are two elevators in this building.
This unit has two full bathrooms and ceramic tile throughout. It has a king size bed in the master bedroom, a full size bed and twin size bed in the guest bedroom, and a queen size sleep sofa in the living room (sleep 7 total). This unit has a TV (with cable) in the living room and TVs (with cable) in both bedrooms. This unit has a washer and dryer, and all linens, towels and cloths are provided. Wireless internet is also provided. This property also has an outdoor charcoal grilling area.

This condo has it all. It will feel like your home away from home. You will love the view from the balcony.

Spring break trip

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The condo was well equipped. It was a great location on a stretch of beach with houses rather than large complexes to one side. So the beach was not as crowded as other areas. The pool was great- nice and warm on one of the cooler days we had. We would definitely stay again!

Spring Break 2025

If you're looking for stunning gulf views and the most wonderful pool, you need to book today. The heated indoor/outdoor pool saved the day on the windy/rainy days we had. It was so spacious and warm, the kids didn't care one bit about the weather. Brad was incredibly helpful with rearranging the trip dates and making sure I wasn't overcharged w/VRBO fees. The condo itself was as beautiful as the pictures show and fit our family of 5 easily. 10/10 recommend!

Perfect vacation spot

My family absolutely loved this condo. The balcony offered an incredible view, and I especially enjoyed starting my mornings with coffee on the spacious balcony. The beach was gorgeous, and my kids had a great time in the heated pool. The condo was clean, and the building was quiet, making it the perfect getaway.

Awesome location and space

We loved our stay here! The location is awesome, just a hop, skip, and jump from the Neighborhood Walmart and several restaurants. We never once had to wait on the elevator more than 30 seconds, and it was quieter than we expected during Thanksgiving week. The pool was warm and great for night swims, especially when the sun set at 5 pm. The condo was impeccably clean (great job, cleaners!!!) and the view from the balcony was breathtaking. The master bedroom also had a window overlooking the beach. Plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 teens, and we loved that they each had their own bed AND a bathroom that was attached to their room. The master bedroom was a nice space, with plenty of room in the closet and drawer. The beds were super comfy. There were extra box fans in each room, and tvs as well. Towels and extra linens were included, as well as 2 hairdryers in the bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates/bowls, and cookware, the only thing that was missing was a baking sheet but we made do just fine. We also appreciated that there was dishwashing liquid, paper towels, and toilet paper provided as well. The only 2 things that we found all week that would have been helpful to add is a small broom and dustpan (sand gets everywhere even when you’re careful) and a baking pan. Our stay was better than we had hoped. I cannot recommend this place enough!

We had a great week at the beach. Even though the weather was not perfect because of a hurricane in Louisiana, we were still able to be on the beach every day. Condo and balcony chairs were perfect for our needs.

This was a last minute trip before school starts. The property was so cute and clean, comfy beds, everything you could need overlooking the beach. We were very happy with our booking and would definitely stay there again!! Close to everything and the beach is right out your back door. The place was so great! Great location to food places even in gulf shores! There were a few things we had to reach out to the owners about but they were quick to respond and nothing that hindered our stay really! Perfect amount of space and beds! Beds were so comfortable too! The sign is a little hard to see but they gave us a heads up about it! Also there was not regular coffee maker as pictured but the neighborhood Walmart has a small one for $10 which we will keep for future trips if needed! I would recommend to future stayers to go to the Walmart superstore 14min in gulf shores. Restaurants we recommend Avenue pub The Hangout(kids loved it but bring trunks or a change of clothes for the foam party. Wolf-bay Costal Orange(breakfast and all is amazing! And GT’s The yard the kids loved for ice cream. Docs seafood(not the steak one)and lulu’s were just ok in our opinion but nothing was Terrible. We can not wait to come back to try more in the area! We would stay again in a heart beat! We even tipped the cleaner it was that clean!

A New Favorite!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. I appreciated the clear communication from the owner which made check in and check out super easy. The complex itself was a lot quieter than others we have stayed at. Elevators were never too crowded and never had to wait too long for one. This is our new favorite place we have stayed in Orange Beach, and we are hoping to book again for next summer!
