This is a nice older property with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. Not overly packed with owner items and plenty of room for groceries and clothing. The house is well furnished and with everything you need for a good cooking experience in the kitchen.

We're so pleased you enjoyed your time at our house in the Meadows. You were lovely guests and we look forward to hosting you again.
My family and I were lucky to stay in this beautiful, comfortable and clean Key West home in the Meadows area. The house comes with every amenity you would ever need to make your stay enjoyable and easy including beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, beach bags and bicycles. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cleaning supplies. The front and upstairs porches were a great place to hang out and have our morning coffee and read a book. There was also extremely ample storage for everything you might bring. The Meadows is a great location, close enough to everything but far enough away to unwind with some peace and quiet in the evenings. We drove the quick 2 minutes to Higgs Beach (but could've easily biked), drove 15 minutes to Geiger Key for kayaking, walked in the evenings to all the restaurants and nightlife on Duval and the Historic Seaport. Any question was promptly addressed by the lovely owners. We loved our stay and it was hard to leave!

About the host
Hosted by Christine and Brady Babcock
Our family of 6 loves Key West. The water activities, our great friends and neighbors, the museums, arts, and the quirky fun we have enjoyed for 11 years. We spent a year backpacking around the world staying in MANY vacation rentals and loved it. We are excited to now share our home with you!
Why they chose this property
This house is very charming. We have kept original details and updated to make a comfortable space for relaxed living. The house has a fun history of being build by ships carpenters to withstand hurricane force winds. A modern day salvager owned the property before we did. We hoped to find gold bars during the kitchen renovation, alas there was none to be found!
What makes this property unique
The Meadows is a very coveted neighborhood. You get all of the charm, beauty and architecture of Olde Towne- with a quiet relaxed residential environment. The area is convieniently centered to everything. Stay for a month or more and live like a local!
