Things to know prior to booking your stay:
The Sea Cabin buildings do not have an elevator. Stairs are used to access all units, including some stairs to the 1st floor. Full Disclosure: There are small bunk beds built into the hallway – they are loved by children. They're also a great place to use for extra storage if not being used for sleeping! They measure 24”x72.5” compared to standard twin size of 38”x75”. All units are 490 sq. ft. – they most comfortably accommodate 2 adult guests with smaller children. But while they are smaller, they are still 2x the size of most hotel rooms and include a fully functional kitchen! 1st floor condos offer peeks of the ocean from the private balcony! 2nd and 3rd floor offer the best direct views of the Atlantic Ocean! Please carefully review all photos including the aerial photo that shows the layout of the condo complex to get an idea of where you'll be staying. Washers and Dryers are located next to the pool on the oceanfront; they are coin operated or you can use an app to pay! Parking notes: Each unit is given 1 parking pass. The community pool is not heated and is usually open year round. No smoking. A $500 dollar fine will be issued in order to professionally get rid of the odor. No pets on site per condo regime and condo owner. No exception unless ADA documentation is provided prior to your arrival. A $500 dollar fine will be issued if pet(s) are found on site without proper documentation. This property is managed by Carroll Realty, located on the island just 1.5 miles from the condo should you need anything during your stay! This condo is on the first floor in Building A and boasts stylish touches like hardwood flooring and granite countertops. It's a great size for a couple or small family and has a living and kitchen area with plenty of seating space along with an intimate feel. The kitchen is fully equipped, giving you the chance to make your own picnics to enjoy on the beach, or happy hour treats to indulge in on the patio with the ocean in the distance. Additional seating at the countertop gives another place to settle in for a bite to eat and can double as a convenient workspace if you need to work from home.
The living room area is in the same space as the kitchen, giving you the flexibility of flipping on the TV as you cook or prepare breakfast for the morning. Sink into the comfy couch when you feel like taking a break from adventuring around the isle or grab a drink from the kitchen while you use the free Wi-Fi to catch up with your friends back home. There's a four-seater dining set, so you can take your meals inside if you wish, but the patio also offers an outside dining set and the promise of a delightful ocean breeze.
As a bonus for families, there are two twin beds built into the hallway, giving the kids a fun place to cozy up to sleep or to use as extra storage, while the bedroom offers up a queen-sized bed and has its own TV. If you happen to need additional space, this property also has a queen-size pull-out sofa bed. The property offers cable on the TVs, and has access to community amenities such as a community pool (not heated), coin laundry facilities, and a private fishing pier! This property is the perfect compact size for your vacation, without sacrificing on all the amenities you'd expect a beachfront home to have!
The Sea Cabin Condominiums share a Community Pool including a kiddie pool, Coin Laundry Facility, and also have access to a Private Fishing Pier! These condos are centrally located right on Ocean Blvd which is a great location to be within walking distance to Local Restaurants, Beach Shopping, the county park, ice cream shops, island night life, and more! The Sea Cabin Condominiums are each 490 square feet and are comprised of a three-building complex where all units have private balconies overlooking the beach and Atlantic Ocean. This is also the only lifeguarded area on the island = comfort in safety! Wireless Internet is also available. Come try your luck at fishing from the 1000-foot fishing pier that is only accessible by condominium owners and guests or enjoy a relaxing walk on the pier over the breaking waves. Bike, water sport and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, fantastic dining, ice cream shops, nightly entertainment, grocery store, and post office are a short walk from the complex.
Bed Layout: Bedroom has a Queen Bed with TV. There is a queen sofa bed in the Living Room. The hallway consists of 2 small twin sized beds built-in to the wall - perfect for a small child!
ALL BED LINENS, KITCHEN TOWELS, AND BATH TOWEL SETS ARE PROVIDED FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE!! You will only need to bring or plan to rent beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, etc. Also included is a "starter set" of toiletries such as toilet paper, bath & dish soaps, paper towels, etc. but please do keep in mind you will most likely need to purchase these items after your initial arrival.
A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. NO PETS. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 1 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 21 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given. Further, this home is strictly a non-pet friendly home. Guest will be fined $500 if a pet is found to be on the property at any time.

The location is excellent with great beach access. The space is definitely small, so I wouldn’t recommend it for more than two guests. Loved the porch, and check-in was a breeze.
Check out times were a bit squeezed in my opinion otherwise the entire stay was great

Location is amazing! Lots of good restaurants to walk to and the beach, pool and pier set up is ideal. But we weren’t provided with a parking pass and never heard back from the host. Luckily we didn’t get a ticket or even worse towed.. Could’ve been cleaned better.
Great location close to beach and pier. The condo unit could use some updating, not sure why the porch had carpet. The bedroom needs a new mattress and the kitchen needs a pod coffee machine!
The check in and communication with the property manager was great. They were responsive and timely. The unit is close to the beach and has an ocean view. It is located in walking distance of restaurants but away from the noise. The beach area was nice and only a short walk from the unit. It was a wonderful quick and last minute getaway

Location, location, location! Right on the beach with pool on the property as well. Plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Really had no need to drive anywhere once we arrived!

Very walkable, great location, wonderful view. A little small, and some furniture could use updating but we loved our trip and will definitely stay again.
Great location and access to the beach. Really appreciated use of the complexes pool. First floor had limited ocean view but enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the ocean. Was a little small for 2 adults and 3 teenagers, but overall, a great visit and we'd love to stay here again.

Everything is as advertised. Great location, so many places to walk to for shopping and to eat. The condo did have a strong mildew smell which i assumed it may just have been sitting closed up for some time but it never went away even after airing it out. No we didnt not keep the doors open. Other than that it was great. We had plenty of nice pillows and my daughter loved the bunk bed!
I wish the bed and sofa were more comfortable. No recliner chair for relaxing in the evening. Sofa very firm and can’t cuddle on it because it’s so shallow and narrow but can accommodate 2 pp sitting very upright, feet on the floor. Wicker furniture in the bedroom seemed outdated and flimsy. Loved the counter and island space of the kitchen. Bunks In the hall/ entryway could sleep children, not adults.
This property was okay for a few days. Some things to note - it was well stocked with cook/bakeware should you want to cook “at home”. It sorely needs to be updated with new appliances and furniture, but everything worked properly. The couch and master bed are not comfortable, but there were plenty of blankets and pillows available. You only get what towels/washcloths come in the condo, so 6 of each, and it’s on your time & money should you need to launder them while there (3/load) So, pack accordingly (loofas etc). Quick walk to the beach, and very convenient to food and grocery shopping. We had no issues while there, and would stay again - just in a different, updated unit.

Great location but unit is worn
The location of the unit is great but the property is very worn and not particularly clean. The kitchen did not seem well equipped. The living room and undersized bunk beds built into the front hallway were poorly lit. I would not stay at this property again.

I booked 2 side-by-side 1-bedroom units for our trip the week of July 4th. We were told that if the room was available before the 4pm check-in time we would receive an email. This was not true- there was no housekeeping onsite for the 90 min we were there early and we were unable to access the unit until exactly 4pm. This is fine but the communication we received prior to check-in was inaccurate. Pool was filthy the day we arrived. Water was so murky you couldn't see your hand under water and hair was floating everything (usually means filter is backed-up... GROSS). Another person at the pool (a full-time resident of Sea Cabins) recommended we not allow our children to go under water until it was fixed. We avoided the pool the next 3 days. I reached out to Carroll Realty (via email and on VRBO) on Sunday, 6/29 about the pool and no one contacted me until Wednesday, 7/2. Just know that if you have an issue, it may take 3 days to receive a response. PROS: location, beach, pier, IOP is beautiful

The location is great. Everything on site or just around the corner. Check in was smooth and convenient. Unit was clean and well stocked. Nice to have a first floor unit.
Everything was good except the door wouldn’t lock-no need for a code to open the door.

Cancellation Policy: Reservations made and cancelled within 24 hours will be refunded in full. After 24 hours, our cancellation policy goes into effect. Reservations cancelled 6 months prior to arrival will be refunded in full. If a reservation is cancelled less than 6 months prior to arrival, a full deposit refund less a $100.00 booking fee will be made only if the unit is re-rented for the same time and price, and at a pro-rated rate if only rented for the partial amount. The guest will be responsible for the difference in price if re-rented at a lower rate. We do offer and strongly encourage every traveler to purchase travel insurance as well for an added 10.8% or 7% charge depending on which plan you select. If accepted, the 10.8% travel insurance plan must be paid in full within 14 days of making a reservation or you may add the 7% plan up until 30 days prior to your arrival date or final payment is paid, whichever comes first. Travel insurance covers every guest scheduled to come on the trip. Please call us for more information or visit our website for detailed plan information.
