We absolutely loved our stay, beautiful house and property. The kayaks were a huge hit, we had a such a wonderful time. Was a peaceful and much needed little getaway!
Tricia was an excellent host. The house had plenty of room for all of our family. We enjoyed using the hot tub, the screened in patio area, deck and dock by the water. The walk down to the water was a little challenging for our older guest but it was a great spot on the river for fishing. There were tubes and kayaks to use too. We enjoyed our stay!
Nice home. Access to lake is easy but alot of stairs which wasnt great for our big dog. Outdoor lighting wasnt great or didnt work. Outside area was nice except it rained most of our stay so we didnt really get to enjoy the lake or outside. But overall a nice home to gather family.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Although listed as an amenity there was no air conditioning. The house was very hot.
Clean and quiet. Difficult to get to lake, many uneven stairs. Hard to get off and on dock to lake. Dishwasher didn’t work throughout cycle. Close to easy hikes through woods. Nice get together with family and very pet friendly, they loved their swims
Was a very nice place, the steps to get to dock were difficult some, needing to be replaced. An older person could never do it, and in the gazebo some of the screens need to be fixed. Could really only see sun rise sunset was on opposite side behind you. The house was very very nice although we could of used a few more garbage bags. The hot tub was nice. The outside BBQ grill is very small and really has seen better days, it was very hard to light it, and flames while cooking are very close to food, we ran out of gas tried to change tank and it was on there so tightly it didn't budge.. so it was a bummer, we should of made the host come and change it but we didn't. The host came to house while we was staying there in announced. We I voted her in she said she was picking up a tote from garage..., very weird. But most of all it was nice place
Surprised to find some extras especially for the dog...tie out and doggie septic system were nice features. The water access for pets was not great, we have a senior dog who loves his swims but there wasn't anyway to get in and out of the water without getting in and picking him up....aside from that the property outside was wonderful. There were some things inside that deffinately could have used some better attention before our stay. The house was fully equiped with everything we needed. The fresh donuts and spring water were a hit as well. Overall we had a great time and recommend this property.

Pretty view of the lake/river - good kayaking. Lots of large pontoon boats in a narrow waterway to avoid - although they do go very slow because it's shallow. Swimming off the property wasn't great - shallow and very mucky. We did still enjoy floating off the dock in the nice tubes provided. Overall, the house itself didn't feel like it has had a good cleaning in a long time. I'm used to rustic camps so I don't have high expections for camp rentals either. This one just needs more maintenance. Spiders have covered the outside of the back and the nest was thick outside of the bathroom window so we were killing 10 per day in that room. We managed to have a good time anyway but I think renters should know what to expect. WiFi was good, hot tub was great.

I haven’t had any complaints about spiders either before or after your stay
I give every guest my direct contact number in case any issues arise. The guest only contacted me at the end of their stay regarding spiders. When I went to the home after the guest left expecting an infestation of spiders that was definitely not the case. I sprayed insecticide for spiders along the baseboards , ensuring there wouldn’t be an issue for my next guest. If I had been notified earlier I would have been glad to come over and resolve whatever issue they had during their stay
I advertise my rental on several platforms and am proud to say I have been able to maintain my superhost status for several years with over 100 guests
