This cute little house was perfect for my husband and I for a 2 night get away. The lodge across the street has a beautiful view of the mountains and valley and good food in the restaurant. It was a very convenient location for sightseeing and connecting with nature. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.
This is a great location for exploring western West ViriginiaIt is closest to one of the best views of the New RIver Gorge, as well as the Gauley, and not to be missed Babcock State Park...and it is as advertised across the street from Hawks Nest State Park.
This was the perfect house to arrive at after our 9 hour drive from PA. We loved how clean and comfortable the house was. The extra touches like providing linens and snacks was greatly appreciated. The location was central to all of our planned activities. The house was a wonderful place to rest after our first time exploring West Virginia. We hope to return again in the future!Notes for potential renters: This house is on a road that can get busy and you can hear the traffic inside. I would rent again but may bring a noise machine to drown out the sounds.
We loved this charming little house across the street from Eagle's Nest Park. It was very comfortable for us to stay and enjoy the area. It was close to town as well as hiking and rafting. Highly recommend!
Very cute and clean and perfect size home for three. Well taken care of, easy to maneuver around. It is only a one bathroom, but worked for us. Close to all the outfitters and towns that have more selections of food. Just know if you show up at night (like we did) the numbers on house are hard to see, but are there.
Perfect spot across from Hawks Nest and adjoining park property. Cute little house with a fire pit. Loved seeing notes in the guestbook and browsing all the visitor and park guides!
We had a wonderful trip and there were so many things to see and do in the area. I would definitely recommend anybody wanting to see waterfalls and beautiful scenery to rent this cabin. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to do.
We had a great time. The property was as described. Enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the deer. Only thing that would make it better would be a softer mattress in the main bedroom and maybe so pillows on the couch . But everything else was perfect. Hope to rent again in future. Thanks for a great weekend.
