We had a great time at Bonnie. Comfy beds and cozy all round. A great place for a quiet holiday with great cooking facilities and super close to the train station for day trips. Highly reccomend :)
It was nice and fantastic, had good time. Enjoyed 80s theme of the house, well maintained.A perfect rustic escape with a great location for sunrise and sunset views. The barbeque and wood fire were definite highlights, making the evenings warm and memorableThe house was really awesome and well maintained, with all the amenities. An additional fan or a portable cooler would have been great during the scorching summer, but overall everything was fantastic and there was nothing to complain about.
Our family, including our two dogs had such a lovely stay in Mt Victoria. The garden was lovely and safe for the dogs. The house was perfect; clean, pretty and comfortable and in a handy location.
We had a fabulous, cosy and very relaxing stay at this cottage in the Blue Mountains. The hosts were very helpful, great instructions about the cottage and recommendations on walks/cafes. It was so great having our dog with us. So many little touches - fire, nana slippers, cooking facilities and port! We look forward to booking in again. Thank you very much - Cathy, Ross and Minski.
Staying here felt like home, it was so cosy and cute, the perfect home base for our romantic weekend away.
The location was ideal! We got to experience scenic world, the antique shops in Katoomba, the local shops in Mount Victoria, the beautiful Botanic Gardens and all of the amazing walks and look outs.
We then got to come home each evening to a warm house where we go to create a home cooked meal, run a luxurious bubble bath and cuddle up by the fire.
PERFECT!
We had a wonderful stay! Joanne is a great host who communicates very clearly. My husband and I, along with our 4month old baby and 3 YO dog, stayed at the cottage for two nights. The quant cottage is comfortable and well set up. A beautiful claw foot bathtub and the fireplace add to its charm. The cottage is also great for dogs and kids with a generous sized yard.

Great place to stay with my dog. Lovely cottage very well equipped with the essentials and conveniences of a retreat. It was a shame to discover that that house was located on a major truck route. While the days were full of exploration, the nights were disrupted by a convoy of trucks between 2am and 6am, then sporadically during early afternoon and mornings. This disrupted sleep and made the stay uncomfortable.
Kitchen was good. Unfortunately the much talked of fire pit was full of charred firewood and water.
There is a semi trailer movement every 2 minutes 24 hours a day we had to leave a day early as no sleep was possible. We were to stay 4 days there was only enough fire wood for 1 day. We tried to rectify it but in the end we ended up buying our own they also left on half a roll of toilet paper for 4 days. After much back and forth this issue was resolved. The house is dangerously close to the road.
We had a lovely stay at the cottage. The kitchen was fabulously kitted out and the open fire with the provided marshmallows a treat. A charming relaxing stay
We are feeling well rested after a wonderful stay at Bonnie. It was really great to spend some time away relaxing with the dogs. Thank you Joanne & Gerardo.

An Aussie + Italian couple that loves dogs and new adventures. We are excited to welcome people into our home. We hope you love the Blue Mountains and Bonnie as much as we do!
Why they chose this property
We wanted to own a piece of history! Bonnie is a heritage-listed 120-year-old cottage that was built as a weekender for a Sydney family. In the early 1900s the Blue Mountains was becoming popular as a holiday destination, especially after the Mount Victoria train station was completed in 1913. Bonnie was one of the original homes in the area and still stands today greatly unchanged! The letterbox is where the milk was delivered by horse and cart, and the majority of the flooring and weatherboards are original.
What makes this property unique
There is so much to see and do in the Blue Mountains! Delicious cafes and restaurants, fantastic waterfalls and hikes, plus all trails in the Mount Victoria are pet-friendly and walking distance from the cottage. You'll feel at home at Bonnie to enjoy this special part of the world!
