About this property

Large home located in the epicenter of the Laurel Highlands.

This home is normally rents from $500 to $600 nightly. I have recently dropped the rate due to some maintenance and repairs that need complete. Also the property sleeps 9 including all beds and couches and I have not been able to get this updated.
VRBO listed it as sleeps 12, while you can sleep 12 you would need cots. The trim around the front door needs replaced, the double decker dishwasher is only working on one level and the master bedroom carpet will be replaced with hardwood floors soon. Also, the internet is satellite and is prone to weather disruptions however this will be replaced with fiber in the coming months. Furthermore, in late February a deck board was broken and needs replaced which will happen shortly. Home is located within walking distance of local bar/restaurant. A beautiful, private pond lies behind the master bedroom deck as well as a native trout stream. Bring your rods, the pond is stocked and privately owned by us. Property is just 6 miles from both local ski resorts, Seven Springs & Hidden Valley (only 1 mile from HV). The home is situated right off route 31 with ease of parking in winter conditions. Fishing, hiking, biking and picnicking are accessible right from this home as you are situated right on Kooser Run. Hike into the park for a day of swimming, boating or relaxing with a picnic lunch. Enjoy the jetted tub in the master bedroom that overlooks the private pond. Home features all hard wood flooring and stainless, handmade items throughout. Gorgeous, state of the art kitchen, including stainless appliances and a grill. Enjoy a nice glass of wine at the custom made, black walnut bar or have a few beers while fishing the private pond in the evening with a roaring fire going in the fire pit. Forbes state Forest 50,000-acre tract surrounds this home with opportunities for hunting, fishing, cross country skiing etc. This forest includes 9 tracts of various state parks and forested areas. There is no end to the outdoor activities this home is situated around. While children are welcome, this home is geared more towards an adult getaway as the only dining area is the walnut bar. Also, the home has a PA Skills gambling machine in the bar area for your enjoyment. The mancave basement includes a wood burning fireplace. This basement is unfinished with a concrete floor but is heated. We are in the process of changing the door to a keycode entry as we have had issues with tenants losing the keys. We own the entire area and the area is equipped with security cameras, there is no key to lock the door however we offer use of a heavy duty safe in the basement for valuables.

Comfy Cabin right on the Mountain.
My family and I had taken our winter getaway to Seven Springs and stayed here at this Beautiful Mountain side Cabin that has its very on gorgeous lake. The place was super cute, cozy, and very clean.. The property owner Nikki is local right near by if you need anything at any time, The master bedroom has the most comfy bed, and I suggest you take a nice HOT bath in the Jacuzzi tub its so relaxing.. We had the bar area where my family and I got to sit play games, cards and hangout while right there in the kitchen I got to make food, snacks etc... while enjoying playing games with them. 3 bathrooms total which was so so convenient for my family since we had 9 of us staying. and the water pressure I would think would've been slow being on a mountain it wasn't it was great pressure and HOT water for days... We are looking forward to coming back in the Spring/Summer to hit the trails and see the mountain during the warmer weather as well. Highly recommend this place. Super close to restaurant, pizza shop, local market etc... and only 8 mins from Seven Springs Resort..

This is not what is described! Look elsewhere!
This property is described as sleeps 15 but this sleeps 7 MAX. They added in a pull out couch in a concrete basement as a bed and the couch is so absolutely disgusting no one should even touch it. The wifi does not work. The manager did try several times to fix it but it only lasted several minutes so there is no TV service without wifi. The dishwasher was full of water and dishes and didn’t function, there were mice in the kitchen and mouse poop on our food. There is no table to sit at. There’s a tall bar with 5 metal, some broken, bar stools. The ad says sit 10 comfortably but apparently you have to bring your own bar stools. The master bathroom has a hole in the wall that was framed up to look out into the hallway, so there is no privacy in this bathroom with other guests looking right in. The hot water lasted all of 3 minutes for a shower and when we tried to turn the jacuzzi tub jets on, some type of nasty black pieces of debris shot out into the water. The master carpet is covered in stains and cigarette burns and the dresser drawers are broken. The sliding door in the master bedroom is leaking and the wood is rotted and carpet is stained and moldy from the water. The toilet was leaking. The queen bedroom door doesn’t close. The outlet in the first floor bathroom is burned up. The manager did respond to try and solve a couple issues but was working at the bar next door most of the time. The domestic fight at the small house right next door at 1230 AM was the icing on the cake. This place has potential but in no way should be rented out in its current condition with the false advertising. They should be ashamed of themselves for the amount of money they charged me.
