Enjoy the coastal breeze on the private balcony, which features amazing views of the pool and Gulf. In the evening, dine alfresco at the table. Across the hall from the condo, another private balcony facing the bay has a bistro table and a gas grill.
Things to Know Upon arrival, Guests who made the reservation must present a valid ID at the front desk. They must be accompanied by only members of their immediate family. For purposes of renting during these times, “family” is defined to include only members within the first degree of consanguinity or affinity (e.g., parents, grandparents (including in-laws), and children). (Cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, or nieces are NOT considered immediate family.) No two families can share one condo. The front desk will NOT allow check-in if the renters do not meet these requirements. GUESTS: No guests are permitted to Renters. Primary guests must be at least 25 years old year-round. Wristbands are required to be worn at all times. A resort Fee of $15/day will be charged to renters, fees are capped at $150 per 30-day period.

The location and available amenities in our condo and in the building were excellent. We had such a great time at the pool on the beach and it was so easy to come back to the room for meals and to clean off and enjoy a movie. Would definitely recommend and come again in the future
Loved this home. Beautifully decorated, well stocked, excellent amenities but the best part was the view!! I had a picture perfect view of the full moon over the ocean while there.
Awesome place to stay...Even at 56 years old the complex had some very restrictive rules, and watching others being threatened to be "removed" from the property was a bit silly.

Great Condo it is a ways from Beach but nice view. Room was excellent
My sister and I each brought our daughters to enjoy some relaxing family bonding. The condo was comfortable and clean, the view was absolutely beautiful, and we enjoyed exploring SPI and realxing at the gorgeous pool. Thank you!
Overall, the rental was very clean and at a great location. Literally, was able to walk to the beach. The view as well was very scenic. Only thing that I didn’t appreciate was that, my sister and I took our children to South Padre for break. She stayed at another rental. However, when I tried to bring my nephew in, they refused him & told me they allowed no guest.

The information for the Sapphire is very misleading and not up to date. The checkin process is a joke, it took over an hour to check in, we had multiple families with us using multiple agencies and the same missing form for everyone. The Sapphire no pet policy must only apply to visiting guests, as our unit was covered with dog hair. The onsite bar/restaurant and heated pool was closed due to remodeling and that alone would have change our decision. No availability at the spa, so if that’s your plan check before you book it!

Overall we had a wonderful stay. Kitchen was well stocked. Some dishes had food residue, might be time for a new dishwasher. Beach towels were provided, no beach toys or chairs, so be sure and bring those. Bed linens were cheap and scratchy, expected more from a 5 star condo. Views were amazing. Washer worked, dryer had issues with filter, even when clean, would shut off and ask you to clean it. Not worth the time to try and do laundry. Air stopped working several times and we had to reset it. Decorated beautifully and complex has security measures in place. Game room and gym were nice as was the pool. With a few updates/ upgrades it would be perfection.

The unit itself was very nice on the inside and Sapphire was very nice too. The turnkey website lists the fitness center as an amenity and a previous review from one month ago said it was open. We found out that the fitness center is not actually open when we arrived. I understand that some things are closed due to covid, but the website should be updated. Also, the sixth floor in north tower smelled awful and there was construction mess all over the place.

The unit was really great and clean, but upon arrival they told us our reservation was canceled. It was fixed quickly, but still frustrating to deal with after a long day of travel.
I asked for help with an extra blanket one night and was told by the staff at the Sapphire to contact the property management company who told me they couldn’t help me because they don’t provide extras, only “enough to get you started”. There wasn’t all the “essentials” they mentioned would even be there to begin with, and it felt a lot like just nobody wanted to help, but rather toss ya to someone else to do their job instead. I will say that after telling me nobody could help me they rectified it by bringing a blanket and some other missing items that were never Provided to begin with, so at least they made it right, but overall just a bad customer service experience.

Highly recommend staying at the Sapphire. It seems to be the most high end accommodation in SPI (OK we didn't see everything, but from what we saw). They did a great job with COVID being polite but enforcing mask rules in the building. I was nervous about riding elevators before we came, but it wasn't too hard to avoid other parties and be the only ones in your car at a time (which is a rule, happily).
This particular unit was great. Very spacious for 4 adults. Would definitely stay here again. They had some things that surprised us (like beach towels), but didn't have some other things I might have expected (like games/puzzles). No big deal, just FYI. The kitchen was well stocked, beyond what you would imagine for a VRBO. However, the pantry was bare. This could be a COVID thing, so beware; there isn't even salt and pepper! We bought some and left it behind, but again, due to COVID it could be thrown out so be sure to pack every single condiment and spice you might need for your stay.
Next time I would bring my own pillows. They ones supplied weren't great, and I would have slept better if they were more high end. I know I am particularly picky about this.
I would definitely stay here again. Really, loved it!
