Enjoy your morning coffee on one of the 5 balconies overlooking the Lake or relax in the hot tub surrounded by nature. Swim in one of the 5 pools including one with a slide for the kids and one just for the adults featuring a swim up bar! Take the family horseback riding conveniently located right inside the resort. Kids will love the arcade and billiard's room next to one of the many restaurants at the resort. YOU CANNOT BEAT THIS LOCATION! If you are looking for a luxurious getaway close to St. Louis and Kansas City, this is your next vacation spot! Our home has all of The Margaritaville Resort five-star amenities, plus the comforts of home.

Under new ownership and recently remodeled! Upgraded wide plank flooring, fresh paint and new comfortable upscale furnishings. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your needs from opening a bottle of wine to preparing a seven-course meal. There is an extra beverage refrigerator for your wine and drinks. You will find fresh seafood, the finest produce and prime meat department around the corner at our local seafood shop and the privately owned grocer.

Boat slips, boat rentals and wave runners available for rent daily down the street at the Margaritaville Marina.

All the bedrooms come with highest quality bedding and linens for that total comfort after a long day in the sun on the lake! Each enormous bedroom is an ensuite with your own private bath/shower for complete privacy. Every bedroom also has its own private balcony overlooking the lake with comfortable seating to enjoy the fabulous sunsets! Bedrooms all have a cozy seating area and TV’s. Large sliding glass doors in every bedroom letting in tons of natural light. Our home sleeps 14-16 guests comfortably.

The main floor balcony has a screened in porch with extra dining area to enjoy a peaceful view of nature. The house is nestled among the trees with lake views from all 5 balconies.

If you are hoping to find a home for the entire family, this is the perfect house. Come down and enjoy Margaritaville formally known as Tan Tar A Resort, which offers horseback riding, bowling, mini-golf, two golf courses, spa, multiple restaurants, sports bars, tiki bar, swim up bar and a coffee house. There is also an all-year indoor waterpark on site, perfect for a fall or winter getaway!

PLEASE NOTE: Tan-Tar-A Estates has always been known for their family atmosphere. Parties are not allowed. If management receives any complaints, you will be asked to leave by security on site.

Family Get Away

Our family wanted to get a quick start to the summer and we enjoyed our time at Tan Tar A and Margaritaville. There were 10 of us and the house was plenty big enough. The hot tub was a favorite. Things were clean and comfortable. Kathleen, the host, was in contact with us and pleasant and helpful in every respect. We would definitely rent again.

Great Holiday gathering spot

We had a family Christmas here and with bedrooms on different levels it was great for noise issues with small children. Wonderful time, highly recommend. I understand it is under new ownership and renovations have started to make it even nicer!

It is a quiet and beautiful community, plus we enjoy all the amenities at the resort all year round! It is very close to St. Louis and Kansas City on the most beautiful lake in the Midwest! Fine dining and casual dining are always available year round, as well as live entertainment, shopping and theaters.
