We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It is old, but was clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Please note there is not a roof on the porch which would have been nice. Also, the drive way is small and hard to see to back out of . It would be a great help if the bushes out front were cut down. It was a short walk to the beach which was never crowded. Overall, we had a great week!

Property could use a little TLC. Was not as clean as we hoped and is showing it's age. Oceanfront location was outstanding !

This is our 2nd year staying at this cottage. We love the easy access to the beach right off the back deck. The views are gorgeous from inside the home and from the deck. The interior is very colorful and welcoming. We love Holden Beach and we plan to go back again next year and stay in this home once again.

The place needs a good update and a good insect control. Many roaches in the house in addition to rodent droppings. Exterminator was called but too late for our one week stay. Closets need to be cleaned, furniture needs update, repaired or replaced. A sun umbrella on the porch would make it a lot more usable. A good location but the above deficiencies made our stay not very pleasant.

Holden beach

The location is great, right on the beach! It is an older house with lots of character, but could benefit from some maintenance.
