We had a great week at the house. The layout is very good for a multigenerational family group with lots of areas for down time as well as good communal spaces. The kitchen was well stocked with all dishes/ kitchenware needed for a busy week of cooking and baking.The floating dock and supply of chairs and tubes for use at the lake was great.

Perfect multi-generation family getaway

Accommodations were perfect for our multi- generation family. The house was spacious, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. We enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen and grilling on the deck. The location was ideal with the cove providing a perfect spot for swimming and relaxing. We spent countless hours on the dock catching waves, soaking up the sun and making memories. It was everything we'd hoped for and more peaceful, fun and the perfect getaway.

Great Lake vacation spot

Absolutely wonderful property - privacy yet our own lakeside access with paddleboat, kayaks and more! Great family time and all we could ask for is included in this property! Also close enough to Lake George for a day visit! Highly recommended.

Great stay - just wish there was AC

The house was easy to find and access. It was clean and well-stocked for cooking with bonus hygiene items in the bathrooms. We loved the lake access and dock where we spent much time. We only wish we had known the house goes not have air conditioning as it was quite hot for a few of our days. There are numerous fans, but the main level and upstairs were still warmer than I would have liked at night.

“Just chill” family vacation

We enjoyed a truly relaxing week. All available to us from fishing, swimming, boating, hiking, grilling and games. Home was large enough for alone time and areas for us to all enjoy each other’s company. Well equipped kitchen, clean beds and baths. We will highly recommend.

House is a great getaway for family time. The porch, deck, and sunroom allow for small group conversation privacy while other family members can be in the next room, living room. Kitchen well equipped. Enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings.

A lovely home in such a beautiful area!

This place is awesome! My friends and I had the most perfect weekend. House is very clean, Kitchen is fully stocked with any thing you need. The house is very cozy and all the beds are super comfy. Host was great and answered all my questions right away. Would definitely stay here again. Can't wait to rebook in the summer!

My only complaint- We didn’t stay longer!

Booked a long weekend with six friends and had an amazing girls weekend. The property is beautiful; the home is perfectly nestled in the trees with fantastic lake access. The owners were very attentive to our needs and responsive when we had questions. Great location, easy access to Northville and surrounding areas if you are looking for places to eat/shop. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Weekend

My family of four (boys 8 & 10) stayed with my sisters family of four (boy 4 & girl 2) and we had a great time! House was very spacious and kids loved it! House has lots of games for kids & adults of all ages. The brook provided hours of entertainment for the kids. The lake was frozen but we still enjoyed the walk over to the lake and sitting on the dock. Everyone agreed it must be a great place to stay in the summer! Kitchen was well stocked, felt like you were cooking in your own kitchen. Will definitely stay again!

A great family retreat!

This was a perfect place for our extended family getaway to the Adirondacks. There was something for everyone, ages ranging from 5 to 88. The house was well equipped with everything we needed for a big group. Loved all the windows in the kitchen, and table to gather (though I recommend putting a narrower table in the kitchen and some reorganization to be able to access everything without having to reach/step over people). There was even a waffle maker--a big hit! Outdoors, so much access to beautiful spaces. The firepit area accommodated many and well stocked with wood. As stated in the instructions, accessing the lakefront across the street is a bit rugged but the path is cleared and ropes for stability. Well worth it--the lake is clean, the view is unforgettable. Getting out on the kayaks and paddleboat and the view--absolutely magical. The only other word of advice is to drive there during the day. The roads are windy and we saw many deer/wildlife on the side of the road. It's hard to see if you're not familiar with the area. Thanks for a great stay! Hope to be back again!

Just WOW ! The best ONE yet we found in the are!

WOW ! 5 STARS all the way ! It is one way to express my experience at this lakehouse. It’s way better then what the pictures show. The owners did amazing job decorating it and making you feel comfortable. We had an such amazing stay on this property. Kids especially loved all the space and board games they l had . The house was very clean and can accommodate a lot of people. The lake view from the house is beautiful! We loved waking up to the beautiful view. This area doesn't really have strong reception for phones but house has great wifi! We went during winter and the lake was frozen! We went to see the ice castles in Lake George and went to dinner in Saratoga both places just 20/30 min drive. Definitely recommend staying here. We can’t wait to book in the summer as I see the owner has lots of lake toys to use. Ps. For those traveling with small kids this house had everything we could have asked for pack And play and high chair etc … very kid friendly. Thanks again for all your fast responses. We can’t wait to book again.

Great Expectations Not Delivered

The house is spacious and well equipped for a large group to enjoy. Upon arrival we found that a water/moisture issue had recently occurred in the lower level. This resulted in half of the entire sleeping area being unusable due to the very strong damp/musty smell. We alerted the management immediately and installation of dehumidifiers was pledged for the next day though they were never delivered. Even with the basement door closed, this condition required several individuals to take allergy meds for the entire duration of our five day stay. To accommodate our entire family overnight, we had to use extra air mattresses placed around in the first floor living and sun rooms. These along with a few people on sheet-covered couches allowed everyone to sleep (not necessarily comfortably) but without the quiet or privacy originally anticipated.

We were notified of this issue by the guest late on the night of his arrival. At that hour I was unable to get anyone out to the house. As soon as I was able to contact both our cleaning company and plumber, both parties arrived at the home within 24 hours. Both my plumber and my cleaning company assured me that the basement had no smell and the bedrooms were perfectly fine and safe to be used. The water was confined to a closet that is not used by anyone. It was caused by condensation of our pipes in the house which is common for houses in this area, as they are built into rock and the water comes in from a well. With the high temperatures we experienced that week my plumber advised me that no dehumidifiers were needed and would not stop the condensation of the pipes. Instead, he wrapped the pipes to stop the dripping onto the closet floor. Our guests’ experience is our first and foremost concern and we are always proactive in addressing any of their needs. In this case, we followed the recommendations of both our cleaning company and our plumber who assured us the issue was not serious and had been resolved.

Great family lake home

Perfect home to spend time with family & friends. This home was spotless and fully stocked with all of your needs. Gina was a pleasure to work with answering emails and texts within minutes. The home itself had many rooms to hold gatherings but also had quiet space to read and relax on your own. I already booked for another week next year!!!

Great family reunion site!

We very much enjoyed this property. We especially liked not having to bring our own sheets and towels! It was well stocked with supplies for kitchen and bathroom. All ages in our party loved all that it had to offer. The older and younger ones did however need help in getting access to the lake (quite steep and a little dangerous).

Beautiful lake retreat house

We had an amazing experience. The property was clean and had modern amenities that made the stay great. The property manager was great about getting back to us quickly if we had any questions and she even accomodated a special request of ours. There were large amounts of clean towels and bedding that were great for the number of people we had staying there. The lake was beautiful and the dock was a short distance from the house. The property owners were even nice enough to put up some ropes which helped the younger kids and older members of our party get from the stairs to the dock. The dock is located in a little cove so it was very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this location to others and would rent this location again .

Great House, Pleasant Lake, Solid Stay

A few things this property has that are well above average: Kitchen, Privacy, and Parking, which are all extremely important things. The bedrooms were all well outfitted, and our family had plenty of room to play, eat, and sleep without bothering each other. The area itself is pretty remote, so it was 15 mins+ to a small store and around 25mins+ to an actual grocery store so be prepared. The kayaks and paddleboats are great and the dock held my boat well, though waves really can cause some wear unless you know how to use the dock lines so pay attention. I would give this place a 5/5 on everything if there was a place for small kids to safely swim and play in the sand. If the kids are a little older there will be no problems, but our 4 year olds couldn't easily play as they could have on a beach. That being said, if you bring a boat there's a pretty nice one right across the river. Hosts were extremely pleasant and easy to work with. I would be happy to stay here again in a couple years when the kids are just a bit older.

Perfect Getaway For Large Groups!!!

Don’t think twice about staying here! The house is one of the best homes I've rented and exactly as described. It was perfect for our large group - tons of space for everyone, very clean, tons of board games and large outdoor space to hang out and relax! They have just about every kitchen gadget/appliance/serving tool you could imagine and large farmhouse table in the kitchen that made cooking and enjoying our big group meals so easy. And WOW, the beautiful view of the lake across the street from the house… just divine. They had just installed a brand new dock. Unfortunately it was a bit cold so we couldn't swim, but we will be staying here again in the warmer months so we can take advantage of being so close to the water :) There are a few hikes with amazing views nearby (5-10 minutes) which was perfect for our group who wanted outdoor activities. We also took a trip into Lake George one day, only about 30 minutes away. Can't say enough great things about this place. The hosts were lovely, very quick to respond and happy to answer any questions we had during our stay! Already looking forward to coming back!

Great Getaway

The house was clean and spacious. Plenty of room to relax and spend time by the fire. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The lake across the street is beautiful and had plenty of winter activities.
