RARE 100' OF BEACH LUXURY LOG CABIN ON GSL- GREAT FOR 1 LARGE OR 2 FAMILIES

Very spacious year-round newer log cabin. Great for summer lake vacation or winter skiing at Gore Mountain (just under one hour away) or the Nordic Center at Lapland Lake (20 minutes). Sleeps 10/12 comfortably. RARE 100' PRIVATE BEACH with SECURE STATIONARY DOCK. Not a Floating docks for children , elderly or when using a boat. Huge screened in 3 season porch which is a "must have" for the lake!! FULL HOME GENERATOR to ensure you are never without power in an emergency (rare when compared to other Sacandaga lake rental properties).

Perfect for one large family or two smaller individual families as each can have their own living space and full separate baths. Two bedrooms on main floor for easy access for parents or grandparents.

Large kitchen and indoor porch eating area.

Central air and heat along with outdoor fire pit for Adirondack campfires!

Very spacious screened in three season porch with views to the lake. HUGE outdoor deck for grilling or relaxing and enjoying the lake view and sunshine.

Walkout basement with ping pong and foosball table leads to short walk to your own private beach with swim dock. Minimal slope down into water (almost flat), no stairs to deal with.

Very gradual slope out to deeper water making it safer for children or anyone who has difficulty swimming! NO QUICK DROP OFF IN DEPTH, do not underestimate this feature.

Close to Saratoga Springs and World Class horse racing as well as Lake George for great day trips.

Two flat screen smart TV's, one with Amazon Fire Stick for access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, cable and hi speed wifi.

Great lake for fishing. Lake Sacandaga has less than half the boat traffic than neighboring Lake George. This makes it very safe for swimming off boats, water skiing, tubing, kayaking and paddle boarding. If you are considering bringing bicycles the road out in front of the house has a great relatively quiet and safe 5 mile loop.

Abundant activities for the winter months! Ski at Gore Mountain (1 hour away) or snowshoe and cross-country ski at Lapland Lake Nordic Center only 20 minutes away.

JULY THROUGH LABOR DAY- for these months we do require a 7 night minimum unless otherwise negotiated. Shorter stay inquiries for these months are welcome but please note it is subject to owner approval based on current/future reservations.

Our property manager Maryann will be on call during your stay should any issues arise. She is the best in the business!

Breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful place to stay!

This location and home was very comfortable and so very peaceful. I stayed with a small group of friends and family for the weekend. We were able to enjoy the lake, sit by a fire, and go for walks, take a run, and just enjoyed each others company. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals and the space afforded us alone time if we needed. Truly a beautiful and breathtaking place to stay. Thank you for the wonderful memories and hospitality.

Wonderful Family Vacation

Beautiful and spacious log home which was perfect for our 2 families to enjoy. The lake is lovely and the direct access and gradual depth was perfect for the children. The property manager was friendly, helpful and available if needed. Excellent vacation choice.

This was our first time at Lake Sacandaga, and we were absolutely thrilled! The house is beautiful and fully stocked with everything you need for a perfect lake vacation. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The yard was gorgeous and sloped gently down into the peaceful lake—ideal for swimming, relaxing, or just enjoying the view.We rented a boat for the week, and our teens had a blast tubing and water skiing. The lake was quiet with very little boat traffic, which made it even more enjoyable and safe for the kids.Evenings were just as special—we loved relaxing by the firepit, roasting marshmallows, and making s’mores under the stars.We had a group of 10 people and there was plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy lake life. We truly had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back next summer!

This house was absolutely breathtaking!! From the minute we booked until the moment we arrived, everything was first class!The owner communicated with me every step of the way and was quick to answer any questions we had. He was very accommodating and eager to please our needs!The property manager met us on the day of arrival and assured us she was only moments away, she we have any issues. Everything was spectacular!!The spacious accommodations, the grounds and the company, it was most certainly a weekend to remember! Family Fun

We had a great time! Brian the owner and Maryann the caretaker are awesome. They communicate well and make sure you are having a good time without issues. Great for kids! We kept our pontoon and jet ski at the dock. Would highly recommend for a great vacation on Sacandaga Lake!

We had a great stay!

We had a great stay at this property. Location was awesome! My family and I had So much fun on the lake each day. The house was beautiful. The kitchen was lacking some kitchen items since we cooked every meal here due to the pandemic. Besides this everything was perfect!

Great Family Getaway

Wonderful direct lake house with plenty of room. Both the property owner Brian and the property manager Maryann were very responsive and helpful. The kitchen is large and the porch is fantastic. We lived on the enclosed porch. Highly recommend!

Best place to stay

The property is meticulously maintained and very new. Brian and his onsight manager were ao helpful thriugh the whole stay. Bhe reached out to me a few times before our reservation to give me ideas of things to do and places to go during our stay. Great guy and very down to earth.

Our 3 generations group had a wonderful time at this lovely place. Large and comfortable indoor common areas and deck. We greatly enjoyed screen porch dining arrangement. Excellent swimming. Owner and local property manager exceptionally responsive. Very good AC and ceiling fans. Friendly, quiet neighbors on sides.

Just the best.

Brian is literally the best. His property is amazing, Maryann is so sweet and accommodating. The property is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. Cannot rate this place high enough. Such a beautiful part of the lake, quiet but convenient. I wish I could give it a bad review to keep it to myself

snowmobile trip without the snow

Even though the weather didnt cooperate we made the best of our vacation. The lake was frozen so we were able to ice skate and ice fish. We made campfires and just enjoyed being together with the family.

We had a great time!! This house was perfect for all of us.

From booking this property to check-out was easy and communication between the owner and us was effortless. The owner and property manager were very quick to respond to questions. The house was clean, great view of the lake and great for a large family(there were 12 of us). My only suggestion would be to have larger pots/fry pans available for cooking for larger groups. That gas range was awesome for cooking!

Amazing week!

We had a wonderful stay at Brian and Carolina’s house. From the inside to the outside it was wonderful for our group of 11 (6 adults/5 kids). Enough beds and baths for 3 different families. The kitchen was and great room were very spacious. The screened in porch was gorgeous and we were all able to eat meals together. The lake with the dock was spectacular. My only recommendation would be that more water toys(kayak, paddle boards, paddle boat) be provided and lights to line the stairs and walkway to the beach. It was an amazing week and we look forward to staying again soon!

Summer Vacation

Brian was so easy to communicate with and always very responsive. The property manager MaryAnne met us there at check in, went over everything and was an absolute peach. She was available if we needed her but we did not. The house was gorgeous and well maintained we had no issues all week. This was our summer vacation with another family. There were 9 adults in the house and we had plenty of room.

Great vacation home

Pictures online do not do this property justice. Have usually had opposite experience, but house is much more attractive and functional than it appears on website. Well supplied kitchen and appliances. Good beds and linens. Delightful and responsive property manager. Beach more rocky than expected due to low level of lake. No canoe available as suggested on website. Dock access shaky, especially for kids, with low lake level. Would certainly recommend and return for family vacation.

Couldn’t have been better

I can’t say enough great things about this property. The cabin is gorgeous and quite large. We had three families staying here together and it never felt over crowded. We spent so much time fishing both off the dock and at other locations around Lake Sacandaga. We rented a boat one day and rode around the lake. We also found a mini golf and bowling alley not to far away for the kids. Great ice cream at the million Stewart’s in the area. :) And of course s’mores and chilling around the camp fire almost every night! Brian and Marianne could not have been more hospitable and attentive to anything we needed. But we did not need to reach out to them much for anything as everything worked great at the house. Highly recommend this house for large families looking to spend time together.

A Beautiful Place to Enjoy

This vacation rental exceeded all of my expectations & was a total delight for my family. The house was beautiful, spacious & very clean. Since there were 10 of us including grandkids, there was plenty of room. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook & modern. The waterfront views from the house were gorgeous, & we enjoyed them from the the large deck, the large enclosed porch & the beautiful great room. Being outdoor lovers, the grandkids enjoyed swimming in the pristine water, fishing off the secure dock, playing along the sandy shore & of course evening campfires with s’mores. They wished we had more time to enjoy the ping pong table & foozball table inside. Brian & Carolina were so wonderful to work with from start to finish. They were friendly, easy to reach, helpful & responsive. We had a terrific family get away & hope to be back soon!

House is nice - not our type of lake

House is nice but a little pricey for the lake! It has everything you need. Great firepit. Yard needs a little work. Host is very helpful. We found that the beds were impractical and the air conditioning system not great - basement is very cold while the loft is very warm. Not our favorite lake - depth levels inconsistent. Floating / rolling docks not practical or comfortable. Lake is windy and choppy and lacking good destinations. Wakeboarding and tubing must be done in the morning hours. We didn't catch a single fish from the dock. We still had a good time!

Good house but a few things to know

Overall our group really enjoyed our stay at the property. We had young children (2,3, and 4), people in their 30s, and people in their 70s. The property manager was very responsive to the issue we had and addressed it immediately. One thing I definitely want to mention is that while the place is listed as 5 bedrooms (counting the open loft as a bedroom), there's a room in the basement that is a decent size and only has a foosball table in it. We moved the table to the side of the room and put a mattress from the bunk room on the floor and it was a perfect extra bedroom for one of our children. If I were listing the house I'd call it a 6 bedroom. We have a few pieces of advice for future renters. First, make sure you pack water shoes. The water is great but it's pretty rocky and we were all very happy with our water shoes. Second, there is no actual dining room, just the tables on the enclosed porch. If you're going to have very hot weather (we had a few days in the 90s) it's good to have a fan or 2 to blow some of the cool air from inside the house out there, because there's no AC on the porch. Finally, the beds are just mattresses on top of plywood, no box spring under them. It wasn't a huge issue but for people who have back issues or trouble sleeping, it's good to know about in advance. We all liked the house and would go back again.

Perfect Lake House

Our cousin got married this past weekend on The Great Sacandaga Lake at our families lake house so we needed a property for the weekend for our crew to stay at. We ranged from 6-69 in age and there were 13 of us, 3 kids and 10 adults and this property fit the bill for giving us all our own space, beds and showers! Also the property’s Wi-Fi worked amazing! The owner Brian was fantastic in communicating as well as the property manager Mary Ann! The ping pong table and foosball were a hit with our family since we were here for such a short period we didn’t get a chance to use the other amenities provided, ie paddleboard or dock or grill. Although the property is priced higher than other area properties it is worth the cost and did not fall short in any of its advertised features! If in our future travels back up to the lake and we need a place to stay, we will be rebooking here! Thank you Brian, Carolina and Mary Ann
