This home is a great fall destination! Walk to Warren Dunes, drive to many nearby wineries, and a great fall Notre Dame football weekend getaway!

The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. The bedroom layouts are as follows:

3rd Bedroom - 1 twin over full bunk bed, 1 twin bed
The space
You will love this vacation home on a large wooded lot next to Warren Dunes and close to the popular New Buffalo area. The home is close to beaches, great cycling, wineries and breweries. Nestled comfortably in the woods with great outdoor options: built in hot tub on the deck, fire pit in the back yard, screened porch and grill. The inside of the house has a wide open layout, with the kitchen opening to the dining area and living room. Just 90 minutes from Chicago and 45 minutes to Notre Dame Football games!

This home has plenty of appeal throughout the year. It is great for a summer beach vacation, a fall getaway to see the beautiful leaves, a Notre Dame football weekend, a quiet snowy winter retreat, a relaxing spring break, or a wine tasting weekend any time!

Please note: we work extremely hard to keep the hot tub running smoothly for every reservation but it is not guaranteed as it can malfunction if guests don’t follow guidelines for use. We do keep it running in the winter but freezing Midwestern weather can cause it to heat up much more slowly so please be patient as it works to return to full temperature.

Property is not taken care of. Poinson Ivy everywhere and could not use backyard, fire pit. Spiders all around outside of house and hot tub. Needs TLC.

Location was awesome. Bathrooms and house were clean. Holes in screens of screened porch prohibited us from sitting outside because of mosquitoes. Deck had holes on it that we had to avoid so we didn't twist an ankle. Hot tub was dirty and we were told it would be in working order, unable to use. Fire pit was fine but 6 of the 8 chairs around it were broken. One dish towel on total and minimal bath towels. Both showers had broken handles on doors and we were unable to use one of the showers as we couldn't open the doors Trash bins were full, four of them, so we had nowhere to put our trash which meant raccoons got into it at night. We did roll out containers out when we left so the next person didn't have to deal with that mess. Minimal kitchen supplies and we like to cook so had to improvise.We called the host Saturday afternoon to talk through issues and he er received a call back. I never received the check in or check out emails so had to call for house code, and he did answer. He was kind to let us check in two hours early so I will recognize that. Again, ideal location but if you want to be able to relax and enjoy the outdoors, I wouldn't recommend this house.
