It was nice a building that’s a good amount of space. They also have a porch that you can relax. Overall it was a good stay and I highly recommend this place
Property - no recent upkeep on landscaping; bathroom - doesn't look like tub's rubber mat removed to clean underneath, one bulb out, TP dispenser broken; Bedroom w/ 2 singles - both singles broken in middle, only one "repaired" with blocks; kitchen - no convenient outlets for toaster - had to use toaster on kitchen chair, poor placement of existing outlet leads to microwave being set far back on fridge - hard to reach and use, broken garbage lid; basement - dead cockroaches around washer/dryer, sink overflowing with dirty water. Was conveniently located to family and hospital.
rec a text prior to arriving that the place was awaiting a cleaning trip & not to come at the check-in time. While waiting nearby, ppl on drugs walked up to the vehicle asking for money. We arrived, and the yard was unkept, very concerning but we went in anyway. A very awkward smell triggering sinuses. It was very scary. The bathtub didn't look as if anyone should use it. I contacted the Host immediately, he agreed I could cancel, but he never did i am still fighting for my refund. Do Not Recommend
Row house in quiet residential area. Nicely maintained inside and out, well equipped except no dishwasher and a few more kitchen items would have been appreciated (baking dish). Driving was a little awkward due to one-way streets and many cars parked on the streets, but access to downtown and other areas of the city was easy.
Our stay at this Vrbo property was extremely disappointing and honestly alarming. The title and listing did not match the actual location, and from the moment we arrived we did not feel safe. The property is a townhouse/row home in a very rough area, with bars on the windows and people yelling in the streets at all hours of the night. It appears to be Section 8 housing, but that was never disclosed. When we arrived and realized how misrepresented the property was, we had no real option to go anywhere else, which made the situation even worse. The only small sense of security we felt was because we were able to protect ourselves, but no guest should ever feel the need for that just to sleep in a rental.Inside, the home was not clean and showed signs of very poor renovation. We encountered mice, the paint throughout the house was sloppy and peeling, and the laundry room was wet, damp, and smelled strongly of mold. The yard was full of trash, including condom boxes and even used condoms, which is completely unacceptable. The listing was also misleading about the condition of the furniture—both of the upstairs single beds were broken in the middle and unusable.Overall, this property is severely misrepresented on Vrbo, unsafe, and unsanitary. For the safety and well-being of future guests, it should seriously be reviewed by Vrbo and likely removed from the platform.
Our family of 4 stayed 2 weeks while visiting the city and surrounding areas. It was a good location for us to where we wanted to go. Short distance to downtown and transit. Plenty of room between 3 floors. Very clean and easy to check-in. Washer and dryer in the basement was convenient and great to have a TV in every bedroom and living room. Communication with the property manager was quick and responsive. Its an older home so the floors and stairs creaked, and in an older but quiet neighborhood but we felt safe. Its a neighborhood where friendly neighbors sit on their porches and the ice cream truck comes through the streets. Easy walk to the nearby shopping center. Plenty of linens, towels, and dishes. Comfortable beds and the AC unit is easy to adjust to your comfort level, with plenty of fans to circulate the air. Parking was never a problem, even coming back late at night.
Dear Vrbo Customer Support,I am writing to formally demand a full reimbursement for my recent Vrbo booking under reservation number [HA-QCM09R] Property ID: 2618949 ].Grounds for Reimbursement1. Severe Health and Safety Hazard – Upon arrival, the property was infested with mice. This was not a minor issue; it posed a direct threat to my family, especially my children, who could have been bitten and exposed to serious health problems.2. Unsanitary and Misrepresented Conditions – The beds were on the floor, and the property bore no resemblance to the pictures and descriptions used in the Vrbo listing. These were false advertisements and a violation of consumer trust.3. Impact on a Disabled Veteran and Family – As a Veteran with a disability, I have the right to a safe and habitable accommodation. These conditions caused extreme distress and hardship to me and my family, violating both consumer protection standards and my rights under fair housing and disability accommodation protections.Documentation SubmittedI have already sent complaint letters and supporting photographs that clearly document the infestation, the unsafe sleeping arrangements, and the misleading nature of the listing.Legal and Consumer ProtectionsUnder state health and housing codes, rental providers are required to maintain safe and sanitary conditions.Consumer protection laws prohibit false or misleading advertising, which occurred here when the property was marketed as suitable and safe.

Disliked: Communication, location
Did not stay
Due to the inaccurate statements of a safe neighborhood, amenities in working order and lack of communication back from the host, my family left the house staying 60 minutes total.
I asked months ago about location and safety of the stairs. Communication from the host was not returned and in the end the bedrooms and single bathroom is upstairs. Stairs are slightly unkept. Not ideal for an older mother that has trouble with stairs. I would have cancelled reservation if communication was returned months ago, deeming not ideal for my family's needs.
Dryer not working.
Despite the house listing title, this is a very rough neighborhood, cops on corner while family there for the short time. My family did not feel safe staying there and the possibility of car theft.
Neighbors had fire alarm beeping continuously every few minutes. I asked the host if he could contact the neighbors, and the response was to call 911 if an emergency. No one can sleep with a fire alarm beeping continuously.
Host had no response or help for my concerns. When I notified the host that we left the house and would not be staying the 4 nights, I was given an "okay, safe travels" response.
I would have liked to work with the host, but it didn't seem like there was going to be any beneficial result. Certainly, no help in a refund.
