The Bourbon Belle is a newly renovated historic shotgun home in the heart of Louisville's Germantown neighborhood. We are ready to host short term, mid-term, and long term rental guests. Digital nomads, nurses and healthcare professionals welcome! Lots of natural light and tall ceilings make your stay feel comfy and warm just like home. Sleeps 4 comfortably and has 1.5 bathrooms. W/D. 2 Smart 55" TVs. High speed internet. Mini-market and coffee shop @ Full Stop Cafe across the street. **Please Note- We ask all guests to upload ID, e-sign our rental agreement and send security deposit of $400 at time of booking. And be sure to read our House Rules to make sure our listing is a good fit. Must be 21 yrs old to book. Centrally located, close to Downtown, U of Louisville, KY Fair &Expo Center, Louisville Airport, and only 3.2 miles away from Churchill Downs. The space The Bourbon Belle is one of Louisville's original shotgun homes. Louisville is known for it's preservation of these unique homes that "you could fire a shotgun from one end of the home out the other". They were built in the early 1890’s by German immigrants working in small farms and butcher shops. We worked to restore this historic property with modern conveniences and comforts while keeping the rich tradition alive. This home is 900 square feet and has 1 primary bedroom and full bath, 1 queen sized sofa bed with half bath, large cozy papasan chair, fully stocked kitchen with all new appliances, 2 Smart TVs, high speed internet, back yard with patio and gas grill. Sleeps 4 comfortably, premium linens and towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner supplied. Location! Location! Our neighborhood is known for walkability, local small business, and it’s vibrance! Guest access- Free street parking in the front. Lock box next to front door will release key inside for easy check in. No Pets, No Parties/Events please. Other things to note- Louisville is best known for it’s Bourbon tradition, Bluegrass music, and thoroughbred horse racing- the Kentucky Derby! We hope you have a chance to experience some of those traditions and also our great neighborhood bars and restaurants. * We also own the 2 houses next door if more room is needed for your party.

My wife and I stayed here for my 50th birthday trip. The house was fully stocked with anything you could need. Great location with great parking out back. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking.

Nicely renovated home right across from a coffee shop and walking distance to too many restaurants to count. The bedroom stays dark in the morning, and the living room is crazy comfortable. Great communication from the host, too.

I've stayed at this property before and recommend it highly. The host is excellent. Coffee shop is right across the street and many restaurants are fairly close.

Cozy home in a walkable neighborhood. Home is exactly as described. Off street parking is an added bonus. Close to NuLu and many other Louisville attractions. Host was very quick to respond and helpful.
We were in town for a long weekend, this house was perfect for coming back to at night and relaxing. It had everything we needed. The only pause we had was the 10:00 checkout. It was doable, but we seemed rushed to get packed up and out by then. This isn't a negative comment, just an observation. It was disclosed before we booked, so we were aware. Again, thank you for an enjoyable weekend.

We were in town to visit family, so we didn’t spend much time at all on property but it was a clean, comfortable place to hang our hats at the end of the day. Excellent communication with owner both before and during our stay.

We came to do a couple distillery tours and celebrate our 25th anniversary. The house was perfect!! Clean, great location and had everything we needed! Would most definitely stay here again!

I am a retired nurse and real estate agent and we run a real estate investment company, managing our properties ourselves without using a property management co. I am originally from Louisville and met my husband while studying at the University of Kentucky. However, we both graduated from the University of Louisville! So, we get to cheer for both teams! We love Louisville, know the history and all the cool things to see and do. We love being centrally located and close to everything!
