little gem in the countryside but in the town

Thank you Austin. I know I was not around but I am giving my best to be available for any questions or needs:-)

Bryan and his wife arrived to the guesthouse. The guesthouse is standardly heated to 71 degrees Fahrenheit for the guest to adjust if necessary. Bryan called me to complain about the cold which I then explained and had informed before the arrival where the Thermostates are and how to use them. We keep an extra blanket in the closet which gets washed after each guest. They found the blanket and on the blanket they showed me a foto with two black hairs …. I wish I could upload the foto and another one where one could guess 4 hairs. Presumably dog hairs. I had no guest with a dog and even if someone wants to bring one they would have to ask me. The blanket was laid in the closet like the cleaning lady has left it after washing and she assumed no one used it. If someone had used it and the 4 black short hairs where from them then I call it a humanly mistake which I already dealt with by having housekeeping washing the extra blanket every time no matter what. I will also ask guests to not store anything they used back into the closet. There were also two pillows apparently in the closet. As I was not in Munich I could not really clarify which my cleaning lady did that the pillows were not ours but left by some guests in the closet. Now I have two very good cleaning ladies and I will not ever let them be trashed . They clean the house top to bottom and we had never had any complaints just compliments. As they rotate they assumed the other one had taken our extra pillows and stored them in the closet. Again a humanly mistake that can be clarified. There was no hair anywhere else on no linens or the floor or anywhere. This is also a claim that Bryan could never proof to me, just saying . 2 to 4 hairs on the extra blanket, I wish I could upload the reality. We could have provided another extra blanket and pillows in a heartbeat. We have a Covid plan in place for every cleaning. I buy new white towels and bedsheets on a regular basis. The house has high ceiling barns, even those get cleaned from all sides in a regular basis. Pets are generally not allowed unless, like in any hotel, I am informed before hand. The washer and dryer get cleaned out. Everything gets washed at a WHO recommended temperature. There is really not much else we can do. Much if what is described is not true and was never mentioned. However they left and I reimbursed them for the stay. When the cleaning lady got to the house she found every light burning in the guesthouse and every heater in full which reaches to 87 degrees Fahrenheit as a backlash at me. So much for protecting the environment. At this point I am thinking that these are travelers that will find something to get reimbursed and stay for free. There was no reasoning with Bryan or his wife. I am not rude and I try to provide the best for my guests. My housekeeping is great and I will not let them be trashed. As I called him out on purposely waistline natural resources Bryan threatened me by saying: brave yourself for my review! So here it is. Some people cannot behave and in this case I now truly believe it was a purposely created scam. I guess that can happen? I did inform VRBO. I have very successfully rented out the guesthouse in the last five years. I guess one runs into strange situations. It is vindictive, rude and to me beyond words. I would never rent to them again and I would be careful as I believe this is a way to have a cheap vacation ! This couple is coming up with lies so I hope everyone can see through this.

Das Gästehaus hat eine Bettdecke 2m mal 2.20 m. Gerne können wir auf Wunsch allerdings auch zwei Einzeldecken zur Verfügung stellen, wenn gewünscht. Ebenso gibt es Überzüge für Allergiker, auch da die Bitte uns vorab zu informieren. Danke für den Tip mit den Spinnweben.. die Damen bemühen sich sehr aber im Herbst kann das schon mal passieren dass ein Tierchen sich ins Haus schleicht:-)

Vielen Dank für den Tip, wir werden neue Kopfkissen kaufen! Ist immer ein bisschen schwierig? Nicht zu weich, nicht zu hart ? Aber wir werden uns bemühen !

Ich möchte gerne zu den angesprochenen Punkten Stellung nehmen wie folgt. Das Bad kann von niemandem eingesehen werden, denn das Haus steht alleine. Nichtsdestotrotz nehme ich diesen Punkt als konstruktive Kritik sehr ernst und lasse die Folie vor dem nächsten Gast tauschen. Die Fußbodenheizung hat vor Ihrem Aufenthalt und auch danach ohne Probleme funktioniert. Es gibt zwei Thermostate im Haus um sie zu regeln. Einmal im Wohnzimmer und einmal im Schlafzimmer, beides Regler in der Wand mit denen man die Temperatur individuell einstellen kann. Schade, dass Sie sich nicht bei mir gemeldet haben, dann hätte ich Ihnen weiterhelfen können, obwohl sie eigentlich nicht zu übersehen sind. Die Fenster des Gartenhauses sind mit Plissees versehen, die ebenfalls individuell nach oben und unten geöffnet werden können. Ebenfalls befindet sich ein großes Fenster mit Tür zum Garten im uneinsehbaren Schlafzimmer des Hauses. Die Sonne scheint ab Mittag direkt in Richtung Gartenhaus, die Plissees sind hell. Zur Nacht sind Lampen in den Fensternischen, in den Räumen und über den Räumen vorhanden uns ausreichend Licht zu garantieren. Zur Sauberkeit muss ich gestehen, dass ich diese Punkte mit meiner Putzfrau besprechen muss. Sie ist sehr zuverlässig und wir hatten noch nie Kritik, ich werde diese Punkte in jedem Fall heute mit ihr klären. Wir erneuern die Handtücher und Bettwäsche immer wieder und das regelmäßíg, weswegen mir diese Angaben unverständlich sind, ich sie aber heute ansprechen werde. Zur Kommunikation kann ich nur sagen, dass ich Ihnen mehrere Nachrichten gesendet hatte auch mit genauen Instruktionen zum Haus und dem Schlüssel. Leider hatten Sie diese nicht gelesen bevor Sie zum Haus kamen. Ich möchte mich für ihr unangenehmes Erlebnis im Haus entschuldigen, bisher hatten wir nur sehr zufriedene Gäste. Ich werde die konstruktiven Punkte gerne umsetzen und vor allem auch ansprechen und lösen.
