This house had everything and then some! Great location and very comfortable for the 3 couples in our party. The outdoor area is a wonderful place to unwind in the evening.
Perfect size for a family or three couples. Property is as described. Kitchen is well appointed. Both housekeeper and gardener were very nice. The grounds are well maintained.
Owner very responsive!
The boutique across the way has monogrammed straw bags which you will want to do at the beginning of your trip as they can take a few days.

Thank you for the great review! We truly appreciate it when guests enjoy their stay at 3 Little Birds. We’d love to welcome you back anytime!
We stayed here for 3 nights and had no water to shower with for all of them. I made this known to the property manager who said it was an island issue when in fact our two neighbors who were our friends all had normal water flow. We reached out asking for compensation due to the fact we were not able to shower in our own house and they stopped answering our messages. I do not recommend staying at the Three Little Birds Villa.

The guest initially requested a refund two days before arrival, citing a cancelled flight. When the request was denied, the guest was able to proceed with travel and arrived as scheduled.
On the second day of their two-night stay, the guest again demanded a refund, claiming that the water pressure was so low that the bathrooms were not functional. Our caretaker responded promptly, visited the property, and provided video documentation showing that all faucets and bathrooms were working as intended.
We once again declined the refund request. Our rental listing clearly states that the property is located on a small island, where occasional power outages and fluctuations in water pressure are to be expected.
Despite this, the guest continued to demand a refund for several days after their checkout. This was a short two-night rental, with six guests, at the most affordable property on the island. We do not believe the complaints warrant a refund given the circumstances and documentation provided. We will not rent to this guest again.

Nice with all the toys
This property is great if you want to use the games and stuff. The house has a strange layout, bathrooms clean, kitchen could be cleaner, old home could use updating. TV's don't work, coffee makers dirty and don't work. AC works great and the property manager was communicative. The house is tucked away off the road very hard to find no signs and the road to the house is a dirt road with lots of boulders and dangerous & tricky to use. Other than that it is a great place to hang your hat and access the island.

Thank you Tracy, We do have floor plan drawing included with the listing to review so guests can see the unique layout. We stayed at the home the week after your visit and found all the items were working fine, but agree that the coffee maker on/off switch on the side of the unit is not in an user friendly spot. Kendrick the caretaker is just a phone call away and always available to assist in little things like operating appliances. Unfortunately the road into the home is not our property and we are not permitted to make improvements.
Our family of 5 stayed at this home for a week. This home is not on the water but the beautiful beach access is just down the street and easy to get to. The kitchen was stocked well and we did daily breakfast at home. We also used the outdoor grill to cookout one evening as well. There was filtered water in the home which was important so we did not have to buy a bunch of bottled water. The house is not one of the luxury homes on the island but the advertisement does give that disclaimer however we felt it was perfect for us. We left most every day on a boat for excursions or on our golf cart to explore so we were really just there for short periods and to rest our heads. The beds were all very comfortable and we slept very well. When we arrived the air was not on so we were concerned about the temperature but once the air was turned on, the house would get very cool. The electricity on the island goes off frequently and the generator did not work for us, but it did not really bother us, we just were not home enough to be bothered by it. It may have been annoying had we been there during the heat. All in all, we had a wonderful stay here at this home. If you need fancy or need to be on the water this is not the home for you. But for us it was perfect and I would definitely go back and stay at Three Little Birds. I forgot to mention we used the surf boards, ping pong table, boogie boards!

Life is an adventure and coming to Harbour Island is very adventurous! The Bahamas for nearly 5 decades, has been a big part of our lives where we spend a lot of time adventuring. With all the pirate history down there I decided to bring a piece of it to Minnesota in the form of a pirate ship. I have 3 awesome kids. I'm a certified instructor in Outdoor Education and enjoy treasure hunting. I kayaked the Mississippi from the head waters in Minnesota to the Bahamas, sailed boats around the world for Jimmy Buffet, biked from North to South America, and traveled to about 100 countries. Cambodia is a regular destination working with orphanages and exploring. I live on the ship quite often and enjoy sharing it with others. Arrrrrr
Why they chose this property
We have owned homes on all ends of the island over the the years and watched many changes evolve. What we find appealing in this location is the less disturbed with privacy and still very close to the beach, Romora Bay Marina and the new Briland Club Marina for dining, entertainment and fabulous sunsets & cocktails.
What makes this property unique
Just a block off the beach yet away from the crowded areas and big beachfront resorts. Overall this is a more quiet area on the island, the secluded 1/2 acre setting has a remote feeling which really creates a tranquil relaxing environment.
Disclaimer: This is a small island in the Caribbean, the power goes out, the weather may be unpredictable, and occasionally they run low on municipal services. We are in the tropics... there are spiders, Palmetto bugs (like roaches), tiny lizards, Insects, roosters, etc. Occasionally these may be seen around the house.
