St Simons Rentals is proud to present Wayfarer Cottage. This stunning cottage is just 50 yards to the beautiful Coast Cottages' pools, beach pavilion, and boardwalk to the beach. Ocean views from the rooftop deck will astound you in this 4-bedroom, 4.5 bath cottage with private elevator. Wayfarer is a 3 story spacious beach cottage. Ride the elevator or take the stairs to the 2nd floor that features 2 bedrooms with private baths. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and the other bedroom features 2 double beds. The 3rd floor also has 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms. The 3rd floor bedrooms each features a king bed with private bathrooms. Also, on the 3rd floor is a full washer and dryer. Head up to the 4th floor for the kitchen and relax in the family room with fabulous beach views. The roof top deck is accessible from the 4th floor. The deck is perfect to enjoy the spectacular views with a glass of wine or a morning cup of coffee or just to watch the sunrise or sunset over the ocean.

The cottage is beautifully decorated in coastal decor and has been newly updated with new furniture, new appliances, bedding, and paint.
Enter the cottage through a ground level foyer which has convenient storage for bicycles, kayaks, and other beach gear. You will also have access to the two fabulous ocean front pools, pavilion and a private beach access.

Wayfarer Cottage is located in one of the most sought after rental neighborhoods on St Simons Island. The street is lined with charming colorful cottages. There are 2 ocean front pools with covered pavilion and private beach access and a large field to play games. You will truly feel like you are on vacation.

The island is a wonderful place to ride bikes since there are sidewalks everywhere. Many shops and restaurants are within a short bike ride. The cottage has space for 2 parking spaces in front of the cottage. Additional vehicles may be parked on side streets.

You will have access to the 2 community pools. During the cooler months we offer complimentary heated pool on weekends and holidays (Spring Break, Thanksgiving and Christmas to New Years). You may request the pool to be heated Monday through Thursday for an additional $50/day.

The house was very clean. The beds were comfortable. We had a lot of difficulty using the elevator, also there is a serious problem of mold in the elevator shaft. On the whole, we give this house an average rating.

Fantastic Fall Trip

The location is perfect with the pool area and the boardwalk to the beach. The elevator was a plus for my 92 yr old mother. Fun fall break trip with my mom, daughter and grandkids. We’ll definitely book this property again.

Golf trip to the beach

The location is great with only steps to the pool. The pool pavilion is very nice and lots of shade. There is a very nice boardwalk to the beach. The house is very well stocked and comfortable seating for all in the general living area.

Great for families

House is lovely, very short walk to nice pool, short walk to beach. Everyone enjoyed this property. We loved watching the sunrise from the rooftop deck. Management was helpful and communicative.

Coastal Cottage

Our coastal cottage met all our needs for a relaxing week at the beach! We loved that we were close to the pools and had easy access to the beach! The cottage had a beach wagon, chairs and beach toys. Perhaps other renters left items behind as we did for others to enjoy😎 This house provided everything we needed! The galley kitchen was well stocked, the appliances were top notch and the pantry was a nice surprise. The elevator was a must for luggage and groceries! We also enjoyed the rooftop deck.

Great stay at Wayfarer

We loved our time at this place! The little neighborhood is very nice, and this house is one of the closest to the pools and boardwalk to ocean. The walk to the ocean is lovely and not as long as it looks on google earth. It’s nice to have two pools. We loved the house, we were there with my elderly mother who cannot take stairs so needed the elevator which was easy to work. We were there when tropical storm Debby came through so spent a lot of time together in the main living and dining area and it was big enough for our group of seven including two teenagers and one eight year old. My favorite part of the house was the rooftop deck - beautiful. House was very quiet inside and beds were super comfortable. I hope we can return to SSI and we would definitely stay here again.

Loved the home..

All was well after our check-in delay. Correct code was not sent which caused us alot of frustration (4 couples 65 and older). On the phone with VRBO ( 4 departments later) over an hour they had us hotel reservations... owners of home were on a plane and could not be reached.. all ended well..before we checked into hotel we received correct code... home is beautiful..elevator certainly came in handy with all of our "stuff". Owners were very apologetic.

Family Vacation

5⭐️ vacation for all! Mom & Dad plus 2 adult children, their spouses and a 15 month old grandchild. Comfortably decorated in soothing beach blues and greens, the upper floor is bright and cheerful. Although galley style kitchen is a little tight, it is exquisitely appointed with upgraded appliances, matching cutlery more than enough glassware and a full size walk in pantry. The thoughtful addition of a spacious workspace was especially appreciated by my husband and son - who were able to set up, spread out and stay out of everyone’s way. The mattresses are firm and pillows soft. There is a shower/tub and a walk in shower on both sleeping floors. Everything was spotlessly clean. Carol couldn’t have been easier to communicate with or more responsive. We were so very happy with our first visit to St. Simon’s Island.

The house is fantastic! It has a great set up for couples, multiple families or multiple generation families. The furniture is comfortable and I. Great condition. The crow’s nest was a fun place for adults to hang out in the evenings. The hosts were quick to help us with bike rentals and addressed our needs throughout our stay. We would definitely book this house again.
