The Spinnaker, Mainsail/Jib #676320, Sloop #488351, and Sunfish #676319 are all located on the small property of Water's Edge Condominium and Cottages. These can be rented together for large groups allowing private accommodations, however, close proximity and common grounds and amenities. Contact owner for additional information These are in a unique Waterfront Community. This condominium unit is on Linekin Bay in East Boothbay. Water's Edge has only 21 units, suites and cottages that are privately owned with access to the Association Dock/Float and coastal beach at low tide. This community is a short drive into Boothbay Harbor. Imagine sitting on the dock and watching the sunset with your first glass of wine after hiking the nearby forest preserves, sea kayaking or taking a brisk swim on the private beach. This is a laid back community that is very quiet and private. Cabbage island is just across the bay for famous clam bakes and the harbor town is a short drive away for night life and boating excursions for dancing, music and whale and seal and Puffin watching. Rent a kayak or boat and take advantage of seeing this area from the water. Camp Leott Spinnaker is a newly renovated and beautifully maintained second floor unit very close to the water. Spinnaker has a small dorm kitchen with microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator, hot plate, a 3/4 bath with closet, twin bed, dining table and chairs, There is 100 feet of outdoor deck with a dining space and outdoor sofas on the covered outdoor deck. Envision yourself collecting live lobster at the pound and preparing your delicious lobster meal in your own kitchen to be enjoyed outdoors on the deck! This units is approximately 195 feet. This is intended for one person only. Enjoy the gorgeous sunsets on the deck or walk down to the waters edge!

Stunning views and Friendly Guests

Leah is a great host. I booked a weeks stay for myself. A few weeks before the stay, Leah reached out and offered a larger room( The Jib) as I was traveling with a lot of gear. The room was very clean and welcoming. It was set up like a hotel with 2 queen beds but did not feel like hotel. Leah was very accommodating, approachable and friendly! The dock was perfect for fishing , set up with a fillet table and running water to clean up. Other guests frequently used the dock and were very friendly. One of the longer staying guests offered helpful fishing tips for the area. I did some hiking at the Linekin and Burley Preserves which is right down the road. The trails go right along the Damariscotta River. I really enjoyed my stay here, I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back!

Peaceful

This is a lovely property. Extremely clean and cozy. I enjoyed sitting on porch area and sunsets are beautiful. It was wonderful being on the waterfront and seeing boat activity. Cabbage island is right across from property. I highly recommend staying here.

Lovely place by the water

I spent 3 nights at the Jib! It was so clean and near, and had all the essentials! I loved the location near the lake, where I was able to go and collect seashells. Leah was so friendly and it was a pleasure communicating with her. Loved all the touches in my room and also loved being near the Linekin Preserve where I could get a hike in. Would recommend staying here to anyone!

Slice of Heaven!!

Leah and Scott's place is a little slice of heaven located in a quiet and tranquil spot; while still being close to anything you'd want to do in Boothbay! The place had everything I needed! My favorite places to hang out were on the front porch and on the dock, with gorgeous views and a nice little picnic table! Everyone located in this little community were friendly to talk to and I even got the pleasure of meeting Scott and Leah and getting to know them a little bit! They're warm and friendly, as were everyone! I'd definitely stay here again and look forward to doing so!

Absolute bliss

Perfect size for a traveling nurse to stay. Leah and Scott were friendly and accommodating. The place was clean and quiet. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of outdoor seats to watch the sunset or to look at the ocean bay. The dock was my favorite spot to see little sea critters. There is a general store and local bakery in the area as well. I would definitely recommend this place and I would stay here again in the future.

Why they chose this property

I have been in love with Maine since I first saw a photograph in my fifth grade geography book! The history and landscape are beautiful. Once we met the people of this region we knew we had to live here. We had been looking at real estate resources for many months. One morning my husband said 'honey, I think I found something in Boothbay but I don't know if you will like it' One look at the beautiful sunsets and gorgeous water view and I said ' Let's call and book a flight!' As we drove from Portland to Boothbay we were more and more enthralled with the region and the beauty and the food as we stopped to eat the lobster rolls!! We were certain that it couldn't get any better. As we drove through Wiscasset (The Prettiest Village in Maine) we were touched by the quaintness of this village and the beautiful Sheepscott River, once we entered Boothbay and drove past the General Store there was no stopping!! We made it down Ocean Point road and turned onto the road into Waters Edge just at Sunset!! Wow! What a sight! We were home!! Now, we always make certain we get there in time to purchase our groceries and wine at the grocery store on the way in to be able to get back home in time for the first sunset of our stay. We never get tired of the music, dancing, wonderful food, outdoor activities, and site seeing. We have made many friends in our short time in this area. We have explored the nearby towns of Bath, Brunswick, Wiscasset, Edgecomb, Damariscotta, Camden, Hollowell, and Castine but always are so happy to return to this very quiet and serene place on the water. Ahhh Heaven!!

This property has deep water access and there is a mooring available depending on size of vessel. There is a coastal beach at low tide for swimming and finding sea glass. This unit has a spacious outdoor living area with views of the ocean and sunsets. This is a quiet small community. Close to many restaurants and only a 5 minute drive to the harbor. There are many Boothbay Land Trust preserves for hiking.
