Hampton University Graduation/Mother’s Day

I am searching for words to describe our experience…amazing, wonderful, spectacular. Everything about this property is special! We celebrated our son’s graduation as well as Mother’s Day and there is nothing more I could have wanted or asked for. The host provided the best of everything. Her attention to detail is impeccable. It was the icing on the cake for our special event, we all wished we could stay longer. This was my first vrbo rental, however, those in attendance who have rented places elsewhere were captivated. The location was perfect, we were close to the University but still able to see the bay from the property. I would recommend BFA a thousand times💕

Absolutely Amazing

I was taken back. This property was beyond amazing. From the beautiful views to the comfortable beds to the amazing kitchen. I spent my evenings on the top deck relaxing.❤❤❤ The pictures were nice, the reality was overwhelmingly past our expectations. There isn't an amenity that wasn't available. Our host was on point within minutes for any questions I had. My older parents are HARD to please as they are set in their ways. They both fell in love and mom even wanted to extend our stay. I will absolutely be in contact for future visits.

Perfect for your next work retreat!

I booked this location for a work retreat and planning session for myself and three team members. Our first impression walking through the house was WOW! The house was breathtaking and laid out perfectly, from charging stations connected to every piece of furniture; to a long center table that seats 8-9 people for group work sessions; to four different sections on the main floor that was used for breakout sessions. Everything we needed was right there at our fingertips. The accommodations were top-notch and included bathrobes, face masks, and socks at the entrance for guests to feel comfortable right when they entered the house. Lastly, the views are spectacular! Waking up every morning to the sun reflecting off the water or ending the day on deck, this house was the perfect setting to work, relax, connect, and recharge. We’ll be back…SOON!

Thank you for your feedback, [Guest Name]. We strive to ensure a great experience for all of our guests while maintaining compliance with local regulations and property guidelines. During your stay, we observed Halloween-themed decorations and string lights placed on the deck and front door, which appeared to be part of an event you were attempting to host. As outlined in our house rules and local regulations, all events must be pre-coordinated and approved in advance. Unfortunately, no prior coordination or permission was requested for this, but we appreciate that the decorations were promptly removed after I brought it to your attention. Additionally, our listing clearly states that there is a private apartment on the base level of the home that we occasionally occupy. When I informed you of our arrival the following day, it was concerning to discover that the patio door had been left wide open after your departure. Thankfully, there was no weather damage or intrusion by animals, but this presented a significant risk to the property. While we wish you the best in your future travels, we believe clear communication and adherence to guidelines are vital for a positive experience for both hosts and guests.
