Located in River Plantation, just minutes from the parkway in Pigeon Forge, and 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, this unit offers paved roads all the way to the cottage with no mountain roads to traverse and would be considered motorcycle friendly only at the riders' discretion.
Once you have arrived just take the stairs up to the entry patio and enter your oasis. You will see an open concept set up with adorable farmhouse décor and a comfy living space to relax. Let your kids play the stand-up arcade while your chef of the group start dinner in the fully equipped kitchen that has everything you would need to make a wonderful home cooked meal. Enjoy a movie or start re-reading your favorite novel after dinner by the gas fireplace.
When it comes time to turn in choose from two comfortable King bedrooms. The King Master has a luxurious tub to soak all you cares away, while the hallway bath for the other King bedroom offers a tub shower combo to rinse all worries and stress down the drain. The house was immaculate! It definitely felt like home away from home. Loved how close we were to the parkway without being in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. So thankful that accommodations were pet friendly. Would most certainly book a stay again!

Everything was nice. Had a great time. Only things are I wished there were more towels/wash cloths per person and the K-cup coffee maker did not have the pod holder, couldn't find it anywhere. Will definitely stay here again.

Booked for a winter stay with our family. Location was excellent to get to local attractions and around the area. The house was clean and as described. Beds were very comfortable. Appreciated that our dog was welcome, though do notice some stains on the rugs likely from prior renters pets. Could use more towels but i always bring more anyway. Would stay again.

Amazing Vacation Home

The house was beautiful and felt like home. I was very impressed with the interior design and how the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My husband and daughter loved playing Pac Man. It was so nice to find a home that welcomed our two pets as well. If we ever come back to Pigeon Forge, we would love to stay at the Mason Jar again!

Relax

The location is near the river with a nice walking path. It is a raised home which adds to a little challenge when unpacking and packing however it was a great workout. Very nice property near all of the downtown Pigeon Forge attractions and stores. We love this area and the location of this residence is tucked away nicely from all of the busy traffic and noise, thus my title Relax.

Wonderful Place

The interior decoration was spot on we felt so much at home there. My wife even got some ideas for our own home. The layout was perfect for our small family. Loved how close we were to everything in Pigeon Forge. What was so nice was that we were close but you couldnt hear the traffic or noise from main street. We will definetly be back. One area of improvement would be better beds. They were a little stiff.

AMAZING

THIS PLACE WAS BEAUTIFUL....VERY CLEAN....KITCHEN STOCKED...BEDS GREAT...DECOR GORGEOUS.... WAS IN GREAT AREA JUST MINUTES FROM EVERYTHING BUT SO QUIET. Pigeon Forge Trip

It was okay. Very expensive for what you actually get. We didn’t have enough towels and had to buy detergent to wash them for next day use. Main bedroom got very hot and wasn’t allowed per sign on wall to turn thermostat down. Beds not comfortable. One packet of coffee was available. There was a k-cup found in the same container as the coffee package. Bought k-cups for use, no Keurig. The code pad on the front door gave us trouble the last night trying to get back inside. Decor was cute.

We use VRBO a lot. There are times when the photos or listing is way off base but in this case, it was exactly like the photos and description. While they had paper products (enough for our 2 night stay) plus a starter set for coffee, it didn't have other conveniences like shampoo or conditioner. We also prefer when the manager provides the information for entry, plus lockbox code, the day before our arrival which is normal in most of our VRBO's. When traveling to the vacation/business location, sometimes you are already anxious and not having the lock code until 4 pm on the day of arrival isn't something that makes you feel calm or prepared. None of us abuse entry or exit times or VRBO would remove you from the site.

Issues with cabin

When we arrived we wanted to take a shower after being on the road for 9 hours only to not be able to because the water lines were frozen. My wife wanted to use the garden tub off the master bedroom but couldn’t because the water jets were filled with mold. The keypad to enter the cabin would not work on multiple occasions. The remotes for the tv’s the batteries were dead. The general cleaning of the cabin was poor, the cabin was dirty. Could you please call me at (586)921-3443 to discuss

Overall great but....

Overall great experience, clean, location was fantastic and parking accessible. Only complaint is that we got locked out with a bad keypad and panicked because we had dogs inside cabin. Property stated to call emergency number after hours but couldn't reach anyone because apparently office closes at 8 p.m. despite after hours emergency line. Multiple urgent messages and no response until a.m. which I had to call back. They said no messages received and didn't seem concerned. We would have called the police because of dogs but finally got keypad to work with a dead battery. Backup key had a lock code which was not given to us so that was a failure.
