New Three Bedroom House in Dark Sky Country!

Northern Knights Sky View Cottage is a NEW three-bedroom, two bathroom house in the heart of Dark Sky Country.

The house is located in a very isolated rural farming area 30 minutes from the Cherry Springs Dark Sky Park which boasts the darkest skies in the eastern USA. Don't want to drive? Just go outside and look up!

We are ATV-friendly with a huge driveway specifically designed to accommodate trailers. Miles of ATV-legal roads and trails are accessible from our driveway.

The house is just 7/10 of a mile from trail heads of the Susquehannock State Forest.

The house is very neat, clean and well appointed. The skies were AMAZING! Communication with the owner was SUPER! When cooking take care to open windows and turn on exhaust fan BEFORE you start or the smoke alarm may go off.

We went for the weekend to road our atv. This was a beautiful rental more than we needed. Place is gorgeous and we will most likely rent again. There was everything a family would need and more already there. The views are so beautiful.

This place was so nice I don’t know where to start! We came to star gaze and they kept that in mind when designing lighting. But that is just one aspect of the thought that was put into this rental property. The house is clean, well maintained, has comfy furniture, comfy beds, lots of extra towels, extra TP, full boxes of tissues in every room, an electric kettle for hot water ( a blessing for tea drinkers like me), good WiFi, and well stocked kitchen supplies. It felt like home. I had to ask Jim a question and he called me within 2 minutes my message. If you’re looking to star gaze, ride ATVs, hunt or hike at the canyon, put this place at the top of your list.

Why they chose this property

Not only are we in the heart of 'dark sky country,' we are only 7/10's of a mile from the trails of the Susquehannock State Forest. Hunting abounds. Our driveway leads to miles of ATV-legal roads and trails and other state recreational facilities are abundant. For summer swimming and winter sports, Lyman Lake at Lyman Run State Park is only minutes away. Denton Hill Sky area is very close by. Beautiful Pine Creek Gorge, the 'Grand Canyon' of Pennsylvania, is only 55 minutes east. The famous Kinzua Bridge State Park is 55 west. Austin Dam Memorial Park is just a few miles south of Coudersport. Don't forget the Lumber Museum on Rt. 6!

What makes this property unique

The house is brand new, as are the beds and linens. We are in a very secluded rural location at 2500' elevation, the highest in Potter County. Our nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away. In the summer, you will be surrounded on all sides by farm crops such as corn and wheat.
