The Gorgeous Newly Built Chateau Merlot in the village #RENTAL2022-00002

The newly built FIRST FLOOR ( no stairs whatsoever ) Chateau Merlot ( Feb. 2022 ) has a large luxurious layout. We worked hard at thinking of everything you would be hoping for in a vacation home. Located at 37 Mill St. it is a great village location and a short walk to all of the shops, restaurants, and everything the village has to offer. It is a perfect getaway for 2-3 families and or friends.

Quite luxurious with 5 bedrooms, 4 full baths, and 2 ensuites, you will have plenty of room for yourself and your family and friends. The property is just about 2500 square feet and has both a front and back covered patio. Bring your padlock for the attached ski/ golf bag locker. Everything about the property is quality and built to our specifications All Amish-built custom bedroom sets with high-quality bedding, and a 12-person Rustic Maple dining room set. Gorgeous stone custom-built gas fireplace for a cozy evening. Large kitchen with seating for 6 around the Alaskan Leather Granite Countertop Kitchen Island. Great layout for entertaining your group. We have a 70" ROKU TV in the living room for easy viewing in the large and open DLR/DR/kitchen area. Each bedroom has its own ROKU TV as well with a premium Spectrum TV package.

The bedrooms are beautiful and the higher-end mattress sets and bedding should ensure a great night's sleep after all of your festivities during the day. All bedrooms have blackout window shades.

You will be quite comfortable having both radiant floor heat as well as forced air and air conditioning.

From the living room, look to the right you can see a view of Greer Hill at Hoilimont, or to the left, you will see Holiday Valley. We added multiple large windows so you could appreciate those relaxing picturesque views.

Outside you have (2) covered patios to choose from. The one in the front of the property has a sitting area for 5 guests while the larger one in the back has seating for 12 guests. You also have use and access to a firepit with resin adirondack chairs. Please bring your own wood for the pit.

When you are ready to host larger groups than the Chateau Merlot alone will accommodate, please consider adding our Chardonnay Chalet ( property #1750115 ), and our Bordeaux Bungalow ( property # 1440191 ).

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make obvious which beds you used by leaving them unmade, at minimum, or better yet by removing the sheets and pillowcases altogether. Please hang wet towels instead of putting them in a pile.
Please put all of your trash in the Totes shown in the pic sent to you in your self-check-in email, The disposal co. prefers the totes sit right where they are. and does pickup very early on Monday's.
Clean up after yourself in general. Make sure all doors and windows are securely locked and all lights are turned off at departure. Letting us know when you have left helps us and the cleaning staff.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We require that you fill out and our rental contract within 3 days of your reservation acceptance. and get it back to us.
Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the house and our properties are no pets allowed for those ( like myself ) with pet allergies.
No Ski boots are to be worn beyond the entrance door changing bench.

This was a great place to stay. Plenty of bathrooms and community space for everyone to gather together. Kitchen stocked with plenty of pots, pans, cooking utensils, and even a crockpot and toaster. Bring your own cooking oils and basics. There is a spice rack, but no cooking oils and such. But there is a grocery store .5 miles away. Walkable to Ellicottville, and 5 minutes from Holiday Valley. We would highly recommend this for your next trip if you are traveling with multiple couples and a few kids.

Chateau Merlot was exactly as the listing described it! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living space for our annual family gathering.
