Beautiful farm house with goats, ducks, and amazing scenery. Friendly owners, giving duck eggs to take home. Definitely will come back visit for summer and fall.
I was only here for 1 night with my mom and teen son for college tours. It is an active farm with the most adorable goats! I wish we had more time. It was a short drive to dinner in near by Northampton. We met the owner upon arrival and he was welcoming & accommodating.
One of the best rentals I have ever stayed at! Wonderful space, hosts thought of everything, well stocked and they have everything you might need. And they let my kids feed and walk with the goats and hold the baby ducklings! Would love to go back!!
Old house with new amenities - love the charm of this western MA home. Our family of five stayed here for a nearby wedding and it was effortless including checkout! Host was very accommodating as well.
Beautiful, quaint farmhouse in Williamsburg. Perfect for our family of 4 for a one night stay while passing through the area on a long drive. House was clean and just as advertised. Very comfortable beds! Would definitely recpmmend if in the area.
We loved this place! Everything was easy, it was very clean and worked well for our needs. The hosts thought of everything, which was a pleasant surprise as we forgot our sound machine for our baby but there was one in each room! Highly recommend and would stay again if in the area!
Scott was a great host - friendly, responsive, and helpful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our weekend stay. Comfortable beds, well-appointed kitchen, and on a nice property with a big barn. Lovely area as well.
Property is on the smaller side, but it is very conveniently located near Snow Farm. There is occasional sound from the adjoining house, but not so much that it was problematic. Host is very friendly and responsive. Would recommend.
Staying on this beautiful farm was such a special an unique experience. We loved interacting with the animals and enjoying the plentiful flowers. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and the owners were wonderful!
Nice quiet location. Very clean and friendly host. Kids loved the animals and the swing set. Only issue is single bath which is on the first floor bedrooms all upstairs.
The farmhouse met the needs of our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) perfectly. This older home has been lovingly maintained to give it a real farmhouse feel with modern comforts. The bedrooms were comfortable and thoughtfully decorated with antiques. The master was particularly large. There is 1 large bathroom on the main level (bedrooms are all upstairs) which could be challenging for those with mobility challenges, but was fine for us. The bathroom was nicely updated, well-stocked and clean. The hosts thought of everything, so we felt at home. Scott was friendly and helpful. The farm animals were a highlight. We loved playing with the goats and watching the ducks splash around. If you are up early, the sunrise views over the mountains are incredible and I suspect Scott's gardens that were just starting to blossom are even prettier later in the spring.
It was an adorable property with so much charm. We loved the peacefulness as well as watching the ducks swim around their tiny pond. We needed a place to stay for a wedding at Look Park and this location was perfect. We all commented on how comfortable the beds were, too!
Wonderful experience staying at the Farmhouse. Clean, comfortable and very quiet. Scott and Karen are gracious hosts and our stay couldn't have been better!! And you must, must say hello to the ducks and the goats.
After all it is a farm.
A friend and I stayed at the farmhouse to attend a wedding in Amherst. The farmhouse is cozy and clean. The beds were comfy. The yard is super charming with a big red barn, a fenced-in area with a small pond for the ducks, and a section for the goats. The goats are friendly. We had a pleasant stay.
Lovely property with all the comforts of home. Hosts we're very helpful and welcoming. Check out the view out of the front hall window early in the morning! I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank-you!
The cottage is clean and comfortable. It’s quaint with all the amenities you need. (WiFi was no problem) Feels like a country home with ducks and goats welcoming you in the morning The property is beautiful. The kitchen is huge and it’d be easy for a family to comfortably fit and enjoy the area. Great find.
My family and I had a wonderful stay! The pictures really don’t do it justice. The house itself is charming and comfortable and we couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful the property is.
My toddler loved using the swing set and seeing the ducks and goats every day and the grown-ups were happy to have a fire pit and corn hole boards in the evening.
Scott was a wonderful host and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
We did not want for anything! The house is full of historic charm. Even when the temperature was -11, it was warm inside. New windows eliminated any drafts I was concerned about when booking the house. Scott is so accommodating. He brought us farm fresh duck eggs to make for breakfast. It was quite a sight to look out my bedroom window to see the goats and ducks at the barn in the snow. The flannel sheets were so cozy. The shower was great and the hot water came quickly. The second floor has the original wide wood plank floors. This is not luxury and I did not expect it to be. If you enjoy a historic place to stay you won’t be disappointed.
Perfectly located for classes at SNowFarm. Walking distance allowed my hubby, who was not taking a class, to have the car and get to great trials in the area. Farmhouse has been lovingly restored and is very comfortable. Thanks Scott and Karen!
My family, four adults and two little ones, had a most delightful stay at Karen and Scott’s guest house. The house is very clean, the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen spacious and very well stocked and the grounds beautiful! The area is great for exploring both nature and nearby towns/parks. Our hosts could not have been better. Communication was exceptional. They were flexible, generous and knowledgeable. I have stayed in many rentals over the years, and this rates as one of the best!
