Woodland river location with all the nature, none of the stress!
Secluded 1.7 acre property close to tourist locations, Ski Apache, Ruidoso, Inn of the Mountain Gods Casino, great local fishing, skiing and amazing hiking in the forestlands! Cozy room one bedroom one bath. Bottom floor with huge decks, top and bottom. Great for stargazing, deer sightings, wild horses, and other critters! Giant lawn with young and old trees, including new apple trees! Bottom of a river valley, river access, covered parking if you don't mind stairs to go down, otherwise you can park directly in front of your room (watch the slope!) TV with Roku for relaxing in the evening if you'd prefer to stay indoors.
Enjoy river spring water for all uses, heated and softened!
Property is secured with local security company including full exterior cameras.
You may camp outside if desired, the weather is fantastic, but no fires may be had for any reason (campfires and grilling forbidden by guests.)
No shooting or killing of any kind on property unless required for emergency.
Children permitted but be aware this is a nature heavy area with wildlife, the river has no rail or safety devices.
This listing is for private usage of the independent one room/bath downstairs and does not include access to the other areas of the house, but the deck is free game! There will be nobody present on the property except you and your party.

Why they chose this property
This property has been loved by my family for years, rebuilt from the ashes to be our home away from home. I want to share it with more people and help them make their own memories here.
The huge deck gives many opportunities to see all sorts of wildlife without going a single step from your chair. Horses, deer, hummingbirds and even the dangerous bear all regularly wander through the property. We don't allow any hunting on the premises so they know they can walk up our valley and get water and snacks safely.
