Valley View Lodge: Your Scenic Mountain Escape
Perched atop a tree-lined hillside, Valley View Lodge offers an unparalleled vantage point of Ruidoso's breathtaking valley. This spacious 3,200 sq. ft. retreat is a hidden gem, boasting spectacular views from both upper and lower back decks, where you can unwind and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature. Whether you're sipping morning coffee or stargazing in the evening, the panoramic scenery from this home is nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Inside, the large stone wood-burning fireplace in the sophisticated yet cozy living room invites you to relax, with vaulted ceilings and a “modern meets southwestern” décor creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The well-equipped kitchen offers ample space to whip up meals, and the outdoor dining area is perfect for savoring those meals with nature as your backdrop. For those who need to catch up on work or simply enjoy a quiet moment, the bonus office space also provides stunning valley views.
The master bedroom is a true retreat, featuring a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms, each with queen-sized beds, flat-screen TVs, and ample closet space, share the same charming motif. A guest bathroom and convenient laundry area sit between the two rooms, ensuring comfort and convenience for all.
Step outside to the lower deck and indulge in the private hot tub, the perfect spot to soak up the serene mountain ambiance and gaze at the starry night skies. The outdoor wood-burning fireplace (firewood is NOT provided) offers another cozy gathering place, ideal for relaxing and taking in the surrounding beauty. With central heating and air conditioning, Valley View ensures comfort in every season.
Ruidoso, Alto, and surrounding areas: Submerse yourself within the towering pines of Lincoln County and watch local wildlife such as elk, deer, wild horses, turkey, birds, and more in their natural habitats. Be sure to swim or fish at the beautiful Grindstone or Alto Lake, delight your senses at Winter Park with roller coaster and tubing, and explore the ski slopes and hiking trails throughout Ski Apache. Win big at one of our three local casinos and enjoy the excitement of live quarter horse racing at Ruidoso Downs Racetrack. Be happy you took a respite from the concrete jungle.
