The cabin was very spacious. It was stocked with all the basics and more! Bed was comfortable. Quite spot and not too far from town. Great host that go out of their way to assist.
This was a wonderful cabin for a stay near Fairbanks, located in a quiet spot just a few miles away from all the attractions. The cabin layout is spacious and functional. Very highly recommended.
The cabin location was perfect for our adventures while here. It is so cute, clean and many extra amenities. If we were to come back to this part of Alaska, we would definitely stay here again!
Nice clean and cozy place off the beaten path out in nature and very close to the Turtle Club restaurant …a must visit for dinner!

It was exactly as described. It had everything we needed for the 8 days we were there. We had a question and the host answered it within minutes. Beautiful area and you can get to all most anything in about 30 minutes. Country living at it's best.
House was Very nice and clean. It was nice that we didn’t have to pay for the use of the washing machine. The owner was willing to work with us on a change of plans. I would stay again and I recommend this house to anyone needing a place to stay in the Fairbanks area!
House provided everything you needed except we have a dog traveling with us. There was not much area to walk the dog and no easy access to trails.
House was very comfortable with a couple of recliners to stretch out in.
The cabin was clean and smelled good. There was Wi-Fi, Netflix, Uno, cards, etc. to keep us entertained. There was a personalized welcome board for us when we got there. The bed and couch were very comfortable and coffee, tea, bottled water, popcorn, other snacks were also provided for free. The area was quiet and we had a relaxing, close to nature stay. We would rent the same cabin if we get back in the area.
We had such a great experience and Carol is wonderful. It's everything we needed and so much more. It's secluded and outside of the city so it's very quiet. It's like. One bedroom apartment. We felt like we were home. My daughter really enjoyed the children's books and uno game. Carol is great at responding in a timely manner as well and loves getting to know her guests. We didn't get to write in the guest book as we were so busy with Rodeo but we will make sure that happens the next time we stay here. Our next fairbanks trip and every trip after in Fairbanks will be at Carol's beautiful cabin if it's available.

Clean rooms and nice arrangement
We stayed here for 2 nights. Here's what we loved
- The property is very clean inside
- The kitchen in great general.
- The host provided plenty of coffee pods and snacks and that was a huge help since this house is about 10 miles from the city and no stores nearby
Here's what could have been better:
- The house is small. Considering that it sleeps 5 people, expected it to be bigger and the pictures are deceiving.
- The water pump kept making noise every 15 mins or so since it needs to pull in from the Tank. Considering that everything else is so quiet in the neighborhood, we didn't really like the constant noise
- The neighborhood is kind of in the wilderness, which some folks may like, but we were bit intimidated with no one around us and no perimeter for the cabin itself for the safety
- The toilet didn't work very well, I had to help family members multiple times for it
- The dog smell in the pump/heater room was killing
- The dog smell outside the property was killing
For our very first time driving from anchorage to Fairbanks was a magnificent sight to see! We’ve made several stops to breathe in all of God’s creation and the wonders that This incredible state has to offer, and it was spectacular! Arriving at this awesomely amazing cabin is a blessing to our family! It’s so comfortable, spacious, quiet, cool, and very clean! Although we came during the “Midnight Sun Season” this place did NOT disappoint! Our host, Ms. Carol is a wonderful person who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was relaxing, peaceful, and perfect! I should’ve booked a week instead of a 3 night stay; We absolutely love everything about this cabin:) Thank you Hanson Ohana so much for allowing the Asopaolo Ohana to stay in your stunning cabin for our weekend getaway and to borrow your Welcoming sign for all of our selfie pictures;-) It was a plus! *We’ve left our family pic for the journal book* which is totally a cool idea😎 May you all have a wonderful day! Stay safe, stay happy, and forever stay blessed 🙏🏽 P.s thank you for the recommendations, We would not have made it without your help! With lots of Aroha🤙🏽The Asopaolo family🙌🏾

Definitely would book your cabin again for Aurora Season….
*The Cookie Jar Restaurant has delicious breakfast! Thank you Ms. Carol
This is a wonderful place to stay. Thr canin is so cute & has everything you will need. The space is cozy & thhe hosts are readily available of needed.
Enjoyed our time, great location close to many trails. Private location and easy to get in and around Fairbanks. Kitchen pretty good, we brought some of our own things for cooking as we did full meals including baking bread when we stay in cabins. Only surprise for us was having to watch our water usage pretty closely. Though they do have good equipment so you can monitor how much you are using. Since we are active, did Laundry and cook it was a bit tight for us water wise. Probably ok for most people.
We totally enjoyed our stay in Carol’s property. It was clean, comfortable, has everything we need, plus some thoughtful extras (welcome sign, candy, popcorn, incense sticks) that show she really care about her guests.
As advertised, very comfortable, if you like the description and photos, you will like this place. We didn't stay for long, but this place would be great for longer stays. TYVM Carol!
