We stayed at Joshua Tree Manor for Thanksgiving week following our son’s wedding. The property is in an excellent location and has a fabulous view of Camelback mountain. The home is well appointed and was very comfortable for our family and dog. The yard was great for the dog, however the side yard was accessible to the dog, which wasn’t optimal. The coffee pot broke, and they replaced it promptly. The only reason that I didn’t give this 5 stars is because the kitchen faucet was broken the entire week and the property and landscaping could use some updating.
We loved our stay here. It was perfect for family! Had plenty of space for us to have some privacy and great common areas. All of the amenities as well!

Enjoyed our stay. Property management was very responsive to a few small maintenance issues encountered. Great property, great location and definitely would rent again!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was very clean and comfortable. The pool and patio were great. Host was very responsive when we expressed a concern. Great location.

Thank you for your wonderful review! So glad you enjoyed the home and we were able to provide you with a great stay.
The house was wonderful and very updated and modern. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were new and comfortable. The pool is just adequate. Not big or new but our 6 & 9 year olds enjoyed it. I had missed that there was no hot tub but since it was so hot out it was not a problem.
The interior of the home was clean, spacious enough that eight adults moved around freely and did not feel crowded. The kitchen was spacious. Great place to spend time with friends. Close to restaurants.
From initial contact through to final checkout, we received first class service.
We enjoyed a wonderful 12 day stay and would highly recommend - we will hopefully return on our next trip to Scottsdale
Thank you

Thank you for your review, David! So glad you had a great time!
Communication was excellent Loved the space - 4 spacious styled bedrooms
2 bedrooms on opposite sides of house makes for privacy
View of mountain Lovely to wake up slide open the 4 doors and walk out to enjoy. Nice community to walk around. Felt safe
Refreshments stocked in fridge. Coffee Nice touch AQ
Excellent for families, 4 couples etc
We had an intimate elopement ceremony in the garden -the ease of it and setting was 100%. Kitchen seemed smaller than the grandness of the rest of the home but the caterer said it worked out just fine
Would 100% recommend
(Arizona is a dusty state so floors can seem dirty. Slippers or indoor shoes helped )
We came to AZ for a wedding. The property was conveniently located and in a very high-end neighborhood. We were out and about more than in the home, but the place is SO well equipped and beautifully decorated, that it would have been a wonderful place to hang out all day! The pool looks more glamorous in the pictures than in person.
The rest of the house, matches the pics or beats expectations. The furnishings, are first class- similar to what we would put in our home- vs some rental properties that have “practical furnishings.” The kitchen is stocked with every appliance you can imagine, as well as lovely dishes and glassware. A pleasant surprise was the inclusion of pre-stocked items such as coffee, waters and soda.
The hosts were SUPER responsive. WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The property manager was really what stood out most about this stay. Very communicative and responsive from before our stay until after we left. I’ve had multiple property managers for homes that we’ve owned and none of them were as good as Hotel Home Stays.
The house itself was very nice overall and well stocked. From soaps to spices, it literally has everything we could hope for.
My one complaint would be the toilets of all things. All but one were very old, low flow style and one required a plumber to be called out right before we arrived.
The only other notes to consider with families would be that the blinds don’t block out much light in the room with 2 queen beds so the morning sun really gets bright in that room early waking up the kids.
We would definitely come back again.
The house is nicely decorated and very comfortable. The location is perfect for our needs which is basically dining out and hiking. It was like a seek and find game with the light switches but nothing that takes away from the stay. The reason this doesn’t get five stars is the pool. It’s a great pool, we used it every day for hours. However, the pool cleaning equipment stays connected to the pump and inside the pool at all times. This is annoying for two reasons: 1) half of the pool is un-useable, 2) with the vacuum hose connected to the pump the skimmer doesn’t operate meaning the surface of the pool has to be manually cleaned. I don’t mind doing the work but I’m on vacation. Is it a deal breaker? I loved the house and location but I would not book again if the pool cleaning equipment set up was the same.

Hi Sandra, thanks so much for taking the time to review. We completely understand the frustration with Arizona pools. Unfortunately, many of them, like this one, we're built prior to the invention of automated filtration systems that keep the pool clean without the need for one with an attached hose.
We have looked at all kinds of options and been advised that aside from tearing out the pool and installing a new one, there aren't any good options.
Having said that, the hose can be pushed to the far side of the pool or along the edge to keep it out of the way when swimming.
And it can be pulled out for an hour at a time. It's on a timer for cleaning and needs to be put back in to make sure it's in the water when the system turns on.
We appreciate your understanding and hope to have you visit again. Kindly, The Hotel Homes Team
Booking Process:
The host was super responsive and easy to work with. Also provided a great recommendation for a private chef to cook us dinner one night. (Chef Debbie).
The House:
Beautiful home. Everything was clean and spacious. Pool was awesome (and clean), though would have like an umbrella for shade. Certain parts of the house felt outdated, however that did not really detract from our experience. Examples: we never could get used to the electrical - there were a lot of light switches spread out across a lot of places (e.g. one bathroom had one of its light switches outside the bathroom and the other inside the bathroom). There was a single ~4" step down to a slightly sunken family room, which may have been popular when the house was built. The step blends in with the floor. We all tripped at least once in the first couple of days, and it had us on edge with three toddlers scurrying around the house. No injuries, however!
Location:
Paradise Valley is a nice place to be, and this house was in a particularly nice neighborhood. Most activies were ~15 min drive away, so you will probably need a car.
Weather:
Basically perfect.
To finalize: We had a nice time and were sad to leave.

Thank you for your review, Sam!! We are so glad you all had a good time, and found the home to be well stocked and clean. Thank you for letting us know about the step! We have since put safety tape on it to make it more noticeable, along with a sign at eye level, which should hopefully fix the issue. Thank you so much for the suggestions, and we would love to welcome you back anytime!!
Had a wonderful stay. The house and view of Camelback Mountain is amazing. Watched the sunrise and sunset over the mountain each day. Beautiful home and very organized. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Phoenix.
This home is located in the beautiful Paradise Valley location set in a very comfortable neighborhood community. The home is welcoming and comfortable with a beautiful backyard and a spectacular view of Camelback Mountain.
