About this property

South Tyrolean farmhouse in the Passeier Valley - Altes Krustnerhaus

The former court house is one of the oldest and most interesting monuments of the Passeiertal. According to reports and sources, some parts of the house are from the Middle Ages; The completely preserved stone vaulted cellars go back to the year 1150. The rooms and chambers above were saved 15 years ago from decay, carefully renovated and made comfortably habitable.
In the bathrooms there are electric underfloor heating and the old brick stoves in the room and the bedrooms are heated by heating coils. A modern wood stove in the open living area provides a cozy cosiness. Everyone is welcome in our house. It is very spacious with a living and usable area of 300 sqm. On 2.5 floors it offers generous space for 12 people in 5 bedrooms. In the attic is a newly renovated large bright room with 4 bunk beds. If required, an additional 2 persons can be accommodated on a double mattress on the gallery. The house is suitable for 1, 2 or even 3 families, for couples or groups.

In the direct neighboring farm - Krustnerhof - lives a very nice farmer family, who welcomes you on arrival, introduces you to the house and answers all your questions. Here you can get fresh eggs or freshly milked milk in the morning directly from the farm.

In the house are still many original details from the past centuries available and we kindly ask you to meet the old house with respect for old buildings and please also with care (especially with small children upstairs), as the stairs and low doors z. T. do not meet today's standards. A South Tyrolean folklorist has rebuilt the rare relic into a holiday home with much love and knowledge of history. There you can take a break from everyday life, without hassle and noise.

Important for the booking:
The house is rented from January to October and over Christmas only on a weekly basis, changeover day is Saturday!
The cleaning fee of € 112 and the local tax of € 1.15 per person per day must be paid locally.
