Easy check in and out. Very clean and steps away from the lake. We couldn't figure out how to use the TV, but we were not there for watching TV anyways.
Lovely, cozy cabin with great views and an incredible host. The cabin is well equipped and modern, clean, and very comfortable. Definitely visit in the winter and curl into the armchair with a good book and a cup of hot tea after a day of playing in the snow!! We will definitely return the next chance we get!
The cottage had everything you would need very cute clean and the view from one of the beds was beautiful . The lake was so nice had a relaxing time thank you

We enjoyed staying here immensely. It was very well maintained and there were plenty of amenities. It was peaceful and quiet and we had no neighbors the whole time we were there, which was nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Excellent cabin for a small group. Great location right on the lake and not far from the snowmobile trail. Very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed.

Thank you so much Bryan, & hope you're enjoying another great snowmobiling season!
The cottage is very cozy, clean, and well-equipped with things like large screen TV, wi-fi, dishwasher, washer & dryer, and air conditioning upstairs. Laurie is so nice and she texts you back immediately if you have a question about something. Cross Lake is gorgeous with great kayaking (there is a kayak and paddle board for guests to use), plenty of perch to catch, and a family of loons. Aroostook County is beautiful and all the people are so nice. I am looking forward to coming back next year for another vacation.
This was our first time in Aroostook County and we weren’t sure what to expect and now we can’t wait to come back! This house was truly amazing! It had everything that we needed to make our week magical. It was perfect for our dogs and the lake was perfect. The water was great and we loved exploring the different parts of the lake on our paddle board. Cross ride to the Canada boarder, easy to cross into NB and get back. Overall, perfect place for a family vacation.
Good communication before arrival with owner Laurie. Before arrival the parking area was plowed and ready to drive in. Cabin was clean and had everything advertised. Bedrooms upstairs, couch and futon in living room downstairs. We went for a long weekend to ice fish and there was direct access to the lake from the driveway for machines. We all had a great trip and hope we can return next year! Thank you!

Thank you so much! You're all welcome back anytime!! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed that little slice of heaven.
Beautiful cabin, property, and lake. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time staying at this location. This was our first experience with VRBO, and we would book this cabin again in a heartbeat. The cabin was clean and smelled fresh, like a pine cabin in the woods. Everything was as pictured and as described. The host was extremely helpful and friendly. The neighbors were also very friendly. We rented a boat from Old Mill Marina, they dropped it off and picked it up at the boat launch (very very easy!). We enjoyed fishing, swimming, and s'mores around the campfire. The lake directly in front of the cabin is a bit rocky, so I would suggest water shoes. We floated on tubes to avoid walking on the rocks. The stars at night are breathtaking. The Milky Way is visible as well as the Andromeda galaxy. We could also see Saturn every night. We enjoyed the "secret room" that looks out over the lake and we woke up to the most beautiful sunrises. We highly recommend this property.

Thank you so much for this beautifully descriptive review! Good recommendation on bringing water shoes - that side of the lake is shallow, and free of seaweed, but rocks are the trade-off. Also thank you for listing who rented you the boat - I hope to be able to furnish the cabin with kayaks soon. You're always welcome back! The stars and loons will still be there =-)
Nice lakefront cabin on northern lake. Ideal kayaking, wildlife watching fishing. Conveniently located near Canadian for excursions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Thank you Brian, you were such great guests! Good point about close access to Canada. Border crossings are much simpler now. You're always welcome back - hope you're both well!
The chalet is in a very private setting. Inside it is very inviting. All of the linens and blankets were clean and fresh smelling. It was immaculate as far as cleanliness goes. There are local brochures and guides and a large selection of board and card type games for the kids. The kitchen is very large and has everything you need to make just about any meal. If you are looking to get away in a peaceful setting, I would recommend this location. I would stay again if I was ever in the area. Thank you!
