Comfortable and quiet house on North Shore at Madawaska Lake in Northern Maine.
Location is 20 miles north of Caribou, Maine, where golf course, ski trails, groceries, movie theaters, tennis courts, coffee shops, and restaurants can be found.

All bedrooms are located on second floor . Kitchen is very well stocked and nice big living/eating area overlooks the lake.

Amazing stay!

We had a wonderful time! Great spot for kids too! Lots of supplies in the garage for the kids to use too! The open concept and views from the kitchen and dining area were breathtaking! It had everything you would need and more!

Marvelous Madawaska Lake

This property was excellent. Huge living space with awesome view of the lake. We took advantage of the canoe, corn hole games and just relaxed. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

Perfect property for our visit

I was so grateful for this beautiful property during my son’s graduation weekend. Even with the weather not entirely being cooperative, there was plenty of space and beautiful views for family members to visit and enjoy. We hope to be back!

Madawaska Lake

The cleanest, best equipped, best organized, most comfortable rental we’ve ever stayed in. Perfect location for sunrises over the lake. We came to Aroostook county to view the solar eclipse and this provided a great base camp.

Sparkling Clean and Comfortable

I am fussy about cleanliness, and this house was sparkling! It was comfortable for 9 nights for two families, each with one child, thanks to the 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all with showers. The home was extremely well stocked, and the property owner was extraordinarily kind, helpful, and responsive. The view is gorgeous, and the little beach area was great for the kids. We cannot wait to vacation here again.

Beautiful Property

Had a rough start, thanks to Mother Nature. Caretakers were very helpful with rectifying issues. One finally able to access the property we were very satisfied. The house is spacious and the lake location provided awesome views! Would definitely stay again!

“The View”!! Quiet, Peaceful Lake Living!! The house had everything we needed to have a Relaxing Home by the Lake. We will be going back again. Next time we’ll bring the rest of the Family. The house has PLENTY of room & Fun things to do. We most enjoyed our canoe adventure out in the lake!!

Thanksgiving!

Family Thanksgiving with my grandson who lives in Maine. Rented this lake house before. Has everything one needs for cooking a large meal and seating everyone. Lovely atmosphere especially with the snow on Friday. A bit of an issue with flies but Lise told us they had been having a problem up and down the shore. We managed. Would definitely recommend this "cottage". Comfortable, clean, near enough to civilization. Thank you Lise!

Thanksgiving!

Family Thanksgiving with my grandson who lives in Maine. This "camp" was one of the most beautiful places we've stayed. Everything needed to prepare and serve a large dinner was there. Comfortable, spacious and home like. The view is stunning and the Loons were a treat. Snowed on Fri. and was a peaceful, quiet winter wonderland. I want to live there! LOVED IT!

I would highly recommend this house. Awesome lake, with amazing wildlife such as moose, beaver and loons. The kitchen was very well stocked, and our 4 kids loved the beach by the dock, and canoe, and bikes. I'm already planning to be back.

Beautiful lakeside cottage

Our stay at Lake Madawaska was by far one of the best family trips we've taken with our kids. My son age 3 and daughter age 7 both had an absolute blast! Fishing off the dock and playing on the shoreline filled their days. My wife and I relaxed while the kids explored and played. The canoe was a nice touch and I enjoyed fishing for trout and exploring the stream that spills into the lake. The cottage was great, plenty of space and lots of bathrooms. Great kitchen and big open windows giving you amazing views of the lake. Big comfy beds. We loved the place so much, we inquired about staying an extra night and Lise was very accommodating and made it happen! It's a true gem in northern Maine! We will be coming back to relax and play in the near future! Highly recommend!

Bliss on Madawaska Lake

I traveled to the county for business and couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The trickle of the creek next to the house provides peaceful background to the serene lake lapping at the shore. The mornings are early and the days are late and this place on north shore let me unwind and relax in utter serenity. Lise and Sam have thought of everything. I cannot wait to bring my family back!

The property is ideally located and can easily accommodate many guests. The scenery of Northern Maine is beautiful, and the friendliness of the people who live here will make you want to return year after year .

What makes this property unique

Summer on the lake is a great time for swimming,paddelboarding, water skiing, fishing, sailing, canoeing and wildlife viewing.
The fall is absolutely breathtaking. Many enjoy ATV access.
The area is well-known for its winter activities of snowmobiling, ice fishing , snowshoeing and, of course, alpine and cross-country skiing.
We are located at the heart of snowmobiling trails ITS83, right off Route 161 North.
